Foxes' Den - River Frontage

This was our second stay at this lovely quirky cottage in the perfect location - riverside tranquillity but only a few minutes' walk to the centre of town.Very liveable and well equipped. We'll be back!

Location is superb.

Great location but the beds were not suitable for 6 adults. Very small bunks child size (stained mattress covers) bathrooms very small but good hot water! BBQ was very unclean and didn’t use it for that reason.

We love staying here, have come back on many occasions, great location, great facilities.

Was a fantastic location. Perfect for walking into town. Kids loved exploring the garden. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed stay at the property, it was comfortable, and the backyard was great opening into the river. There was an initial hiccup at check-in time as it was delayed by a couple of hours otherwise everything else went smoothly.

Had a wonderful weekend. The house is very centrally located, easy walk into town with a great view of the river.Warm, cosy, and comfortable home (essential in July!)Had some games and toys, which my 4yo loved, as someone elses toys are always better than your own.And brilliant to have a spa on the deck, watching the fast flowing river and the rain with family.

Wonderful stay with friends in this beautiful part of the world.

We had a great weekend celebrating my birthday at Foxes’ Den! The property felt like a cozy family cabin and was situated a short walk into the town centre and across from the beautiful Ovens river. Having use of the hot tub made a visit in winter quite enjoyable. Plenty of spaces to sit inside and out with a group of friends or family.

The house was lovely and definitely catered for everyone and everything down to there being a lot of toys for my young kids and plastic cups and bowls for them too the host/owner has thought of everything

Close to town centre and plenty of space in the house. Ideal for a family getaway.There was no power in the entire street when we arrived and Wendy was all over communications and keeping us up to date for when it would be restored.

Great minibreak at the Foxes’ Den. Perfect location and beautiful walking path into town meant no need to use the car once we arrived. Has everything you need for a family holiday. Beautifully presented property and Wendy was a delight to deal with and help make our stay very special. We plan to become regulars and return to this wonderful place.

Great location within walking distance of township. Property had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean for its age and the back balcony was just beautiful to sit at to watch the wildlife and listen to the river.

Excellent location, very comfortable home, well stocked. Plenty of fans and air conditioners. Not new and shiny but comfy and relaxing.

The Foxes' Den is a classic home of its era, very quiet, comfortable, and pleasant to spend time in. Comfortable bed (a big thing for me)! Its location is amazing - look out the back windows across the garden to the Ovens River. Being able to walk the river path down beside the rapids, or across the bridge to the town centre, was absolutely brilliant.

Excellent property,ideal location, great for a family vacation. Walking distance to shops and playgrounds. Plenty of outdoor options to keep everyone happy.The spa was a great addition.

Great property and excellent location right on the river and so close to town. We loved the spa use and extra space outside for the kids to run around.

Amazing location Very cosy house

This is a very tidy house with everything you need. It’s not new, so don’t expect it to be perfect, other than the location, which is perfect. I’d stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Foxes Den. Everything was just fantastic. Plenty of room, all very nice and comfortable. In the children's room, there were books and toys, which they loved. Wendy was the best host, and provided us with clear information regarding the property, and was also very prompt with answering any queries we had. Thank you Wendy for being so helpful. We highly recommend this place to anyone who is considering a stay in Bright, and would definitely stay here again ourselves.

Loved the house, great spot. Read the hot tub instructions when you arrive, so it’s warm when you want to use it ?

Very impressed, the almost ideal location for a lazy weekend. 5 minute walk to the town square, lots of great places to eat and relax. Heaps of room in the house, and very pleasantly presented for our arrival.
