Foster & 5th / 3 BDRM Downtown Historical Colonial

Beautiful house. Perfect for 3 couples. Tasteful decorating, very clean and very roomy. The house was well stocked with everything we needed (DW pods, laundry soap, Saran Wrap, foil, etc). Great location within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. Kim was very responsive to our questions. An absolute “10”.

The house was exactly as described and impeccably clean. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, and the home offered ample communal space for our group. Having three bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom, was a perfect setup for us. The location is fantastic, as it is within walking distance to many local attractions and distilleries. As other guests have noted, it can get a bit loud due to the proximity to the main street, but the host provides sound machines in each bedroom, which helps significantly. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and tidy, and beautifully decorated. Front bedrooms are a little noisy early in the morning, but worth it for the comfortable beds, a bath for each bedroom and being able to walk to everything. Thanks for a delightful stay!!

Great house lots of character. We were three couples traveling to experience the bourbon Trail. Had a great time perfect central location. Great small town just a few blocks from the house could walk to restaurants, shopping and bars. All three rooms had king-size bed and private bathroom made it great for three couples. All three rooms had the same amenities. Host replied within a minutes. Had a great time would definitely recommend.

The house on 5th and Foster was a perfect place for us to stay during our bourbon trail trip. Parking was a breeze, the location was perfect to walk anywhere in Bardstown. We loved the upper covered porch! The house was well appointed and comfortable. We would stay here again.

This is a beautiful home, spotlessly clean, and the 3 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms were perfect for 3 couples traveling without kids. The kitchen was well-stocked with basic dishes and cookware, and the host was very responsive to messages. The host provided white noise machines in the bedrooms to counter street noise, and that worked well for us but if you’re particularly sensitive it could be an issue.

The host was very welcoming! The house is beautifully renovated. Very comfortable. We loved the close proximity to downtown. Never had to move our vehicles. We all fell in love with Bardstown. Will definitely book this house again!!

What a great stay! The location is perfect for exploring Bardstown - walking distance to this historic town. The house is well equipped and well designed. It was immaculately clean. Great location made it easy to walk in to town! Kcups were stocked which is a nice touch. Beds were comfortable. Overall a great stay for a Bardstown Christmas weekend!

House is beautiful, roomy, well-appointed and comfortable. It is easy walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and bars. The only criticism that I have is the vehicle noise from the busy street that it is on. It is very loud in the front bedrooms and it begins at least at 5 AM. Ear plugs are a must-have. Also a box or 2 of tissues would be nice to have.

We felt very safe staying at Foster & 5th. There was plenty of parking and room to spread out. It is located within walking distance of so many great places. It was just what we were looking for!Thank you for the hospitality! Bardstown is an awesome place to visit!

In Bardstown for a bourbon tour trip with 2 other couples. This house was perfect. 3 masters setup was great. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars/bourbon bars. Convenient parking. Everything was great.

This was an amazing place. The three king bedrooms w attached bathrooms were perfect. The location was so convenient to walk to any of the restaurants.

Our group of friends had a wonderful stay! This place has plenty of parking, outdoor space, plenty of places to hang out inside, great bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms! We were a group of 6 and could sit and talk as a group or find our own nook to hang out in easily. Great decor and amenities. You cannot beat the location if you want to walk downtown Bardstown!

The house was everything that was advertised and then some! We would highly recommend it We have stayed at a few other VRBO's and this was Hands Down the best we have experienced! Some of the other reviews mentioned the street noise as some what of a problem but our group was not bothered by it. Yes we heard it , but not enough to mention it in the review. This was our second time to this property with friends booking the first time. That should tell you how much we enjoy this property! The only issue of note was hot water did not last long enough with 6 adults taking showers in the morning. You just need to space these out. I would recommend this location to anyone coming to enjoy the area! We will be back. :)

We really enjoyed this cute house. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which is a plus!Living room was nice to all sit together and talk smart. Lol. So convenient to downtown to enjoy all the shops, food from a bunch of the local restaurants and great bar conversations with locals

What a wonderful discovery this home was. Beautifully restored 1800s home in a fantastic location. The home was a combination of modern updates with original painted plank floors. Extremely warm and welcoming. It was well-equipped with everything you would need just like being in your own home.You can't beat the location. It is a very short walk to the visitor's center, dining, and the main shopping street. Every distillery is within a short drive if you are there for bourbon tours.If you are looking for comfort and charm, then this is the place to stay. It was very cold while we were there, but there is a nicely shaded patio at ground level and a deck off of one of the bedrooms on the second floor.I would definitely stay here again if we return to the area and would recommend it as an easy first choice for anyone visiting Bardstown.The hostess was very friendly and easy to contact before, during, and after our stay.

Rooms were great, everything was very clean. It was great to have 3 king rooms with their own bathrooms. It was great to be right in town.
