Fort Collins, Colorado
Stay in a historic home-The Oak House-Number 2 was originally part of the mayors mansion. The Oak House represents the past while being renovated for comfort. Disneyland’s Main Street USA was modeled off of Oldtown Fort Collins! It is lined with local boutiques, cafes, antique shops, and retail stores. MAX tram provides easy access to CSU campus. Ice skate in Oldtown Square, Christmas shop, tour a brewery, take a horse drawn carriage under the lights, or enjoy the many festivals and free outside entertainment.
You will love Oldtown and The Oak House-Number 2 places you in the middle of it. Walking distance to everything it has to offer. Public library is also just down the street from you.
You will receive check in instructions prior to your arrival. Lock box code allowing you to check in at your convenience. Absolutely no smoking or parties are allowed in the house. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. Please treat our home like your own. I am here if you need me but let you have your privacy and enjoy your trip.
You can’t beat the location of this house. Just a few minutes to all the shops and restaurants. The house is funky but served it’s purpose. My only suggestions would be to have extra blankets, more kitchen supplies, and more comfortable beds. For the price and location I would recommend it. Thank you!
great location!
Clean, adequate. Best feature: Close to Old Towne. Very loud AC. You had better put some caution tape on the step into the kitchen before you wind up in a lawsuit for a fall.
The property was perfect for a college roommates reunion over Memorial Day weekend. Not a bad drive from Denver. The street parking was being resurfaced and had no markings so it was unclear where to park at first. We did have to move our vehicle by 7 AM the last morning because signs indicated all vehicles would be towed if not moved. Thankfully we did. We did see other cars towed. The window a/c units were great but we kept having the heat kick on (we were told not to turn off the heat). It was a fine dance between keeping the rooms cool and comfortable (it was a warm 80+ degrees outside) and the heat coming on if the temp fell below 73 degrees inside. The shops and restaurants one block over were all fantastic. We ate breakfast in the apartment each morning in the well-appointed kitchen. Bathroom was small but not an issue for us. We never used the tv so can’t say much other than it was huge. Beds were super comfortable. We never heard neighbors in the other apartments. Would absolutely stay again!
Good location, responsive and helpful host.
We had a great stay in Ft Collins and this property is in a great location. Close to town and CSU. We walked most of the time we were here. Maggie is great with communication. With my son now going to CSU, we hope to book again soon.
We were in town with family to attend a wedding. 4 adults stayed in the home. The bedrooms were simple, clean, comfortable. There was a nice sized kitchen with all of the basic amenities and the TV room had comfortable seating. I liked the large windows which could be opened for fresh air. I also liked the ability to hang clothes in each bedroom. If you are looking for luxury, this is not it, however I would stay here again because it offered everything we needed, was good sized for 4 adults, and we could walk everywhere!
Property was clean, comfortable, and truly gave vibe of home away from home. Provided A+ amenities and communication with owner was positively seamless, efficient, and timely. Proximity to Old Fort Collins was added bonus to our stay experience. We look forward to future stays!
Great location to Old Town and night life therein. Parking was mostly easy and Maggie was easy to work with.
The location was great, short walk to anything downtown. Comfortable for parties of 4-6. If stairs are an issue then you wouldn’t want to stay. Basic kitchen necessities are provided and wifi was great.
Lovely home. Great neighborhood and right around the corner from all of the pubs and shops and restaurants of old town. Highly recommend this jewel.
The flat was perfect for our stay.. Super close to restaurants, coffee and shops. Thanks again!
We enjoyed the location of this property relative to downtown. It was easy for us to walk 1 block to the heart of downtown where there are endless options for restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and people-watching.
Great location with in walking distance of most things . Miscommunication on ac units .but overall we really enjoyed our stay
Cute spot, close to all the action old town.
This was a quiet, second floor apartment in a historic building located right in Old Town. The location was excellent and the multiple bedrooms worked well for our family of 4. Amenities are as described in the listing. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Overall, this was an excellent home base for our local and RMNP travels and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
Very walkable to the downtown restaurants, grocery & shops. Surprised how quiet it was at night being in the heart of downtown. No designated parking but we had a handicap person with us and that spot was always available.
It was nice for all three people in our party to have their own rooms. Nice kitchen and bathroom, comfortable living room and stellar location.
He had a great time staying at this property as the a location is amazing to old town Ft Collins and tons of restaurants and shops. The place was very clean and we loved how spacious it was! We would definitely stay there again next time we’re in Ft Collins.
