FORT 1 Craftsman on the Woods - Quiet, Restful Hideaway Centrally Located

Excellent property; very comfortable with lots of amenities. The host is responsive and very friendly. The location is convenient and close to many activities. I highly recommend it.

Great place, great location

Very quiet, and just a couple blocks from our grandkids! Neighborhood is great for walking, with a coffee shop and fun stores to browse in.

All I need to tell you is that we have booked the same time next year! The home could not be more centrally located than Mission Hills with extremely easy freeway access to anywhere in the greater San Diego area. We had no problem getting an Uber to the locations in San Diego where parking is difficult. And between the Pavillions Market and the Lazy Acres within 1/2 mile fresh ingredients for cooking in the well equipt kitchen or on the grill are never a problem to obtain.

We've been coming to San Diego for many years now and never tire of all the wonderful tings to see and do here. And all close to this great rental property! Mission Hills neighborhood is attracting great new restaurants every year and it is centrally located to the 5 freeway north or south and wonderful year round live theater!

The house is impeccably maintained in a great, centrally located area of San Diego with was access to downtown and the freeways heading north, south and east. Uber from there is always easy. The outdoor deck area is a lovely feature.

Home was clean, well-equipped and plenty of space for our family. We had our elder in-laws, us and our two children (8 and 1 1/2) for the stay. Our children loved going through the movie library and having breakfast on the deck. My FIL spent a lot of time on the deck watching the planes fly by. Perfect place to stay while in San Diego.

THE PROPERTY WAS BEAUTIFUL AND WELL LAID OUT. THE OWNERS MAKE IT AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE FOR THE GUESTS. IT IS CONVENIENT TO ALL THE POPULAR SAN DIEGO SITES. MY FRIENDS AND I ENJOYED OUR STAY AND HOPE TO RETURN.

Had a wonderful visit and a lovely stay in this BEAUTIFUL home! It's such a warm and inviting setting and made for a joyous family gathering. Lots of special touches, even cut flowers from the yard. Beds were so comfy with luxury bedding. Deck was a favorite spot for morning coffee watching the butterflies flitter around the canyon. Susan's pride shines in this gem! Very clean and safe neighborhood and walkable to yummy eats - coffee, funky eateries and fantastic restaurants! And very centrally located to many San Diego attractions. It was such a pleasure to meet you, Susan. Thank you for sharing your lil treasure! Looking forward to many more stays!!!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here immensely and were very sorry to have to depart! Booked to return next year we enjoyed it so much! Host accommodated our every request!

The house and its location works perfectly for my husband, our adult son, and myself. Beautiful vista to the canyon. We will be back!

Really enjoyed out time on the deck here, only thing that would make this home even MORE perfect is more comfortable seating for tv viewing in the evening

We love this place! This was our second time staying here. We lived in mission hills area many years ago and loved coming back to this wonderful neighborhood. It’s also wonderful to have such a great place to stay! Susan is a wonderful host! Very clean and location can’t be beat!
