Stayed May 15, 2025We recently booked Forest View for a larger group of people and it was absolutely stunning. The property was clean, comfortable and warm. It had everything you could think of for a weekend away, including a warm gas fireplace and a reading room. Beds were comfortable, and clean. Close proximity to shops but quiet. Would recommend for groups.

Stayed Dec 19, 2025Lovely house with 5 bedrooms and 2 generous living spaces. Great location to many things. Main drawback was some of the amenities. Dishwasher was marginal and the air conditioning only worked in part of the house. But overall a great weekend

Stayed Apr 10, 2024Four of us had a fabulous two day stay at Forest View House in Castlemaine. The accommodation was 5 star in all respects. We were to have been a group of five thus the choice of five bedroom accomodation but one of us was unable to come so we certainly had a lot of space to relax and enjoy. A short easy walk to the town centre made it very accessible to everything we needed.

Stayed May 27, 2023Forest View was lovely. The townhouse is huge and had comfy beds, five bedrooms, three great bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen and lovely outlook over the surrounding gardens. Two outdoor areas and a lock up garage with extra parking. Perfect place for our group of 8 ladies. The place was clean and they provided everything we needed. It was cold weekend, but the house was super warm with the all the heating options. Would definitely recommend staying there. Close to the center of town.
