Stayed Jul 7, 2025This house is spacious and perfect for 2 families or multi generations with 2 primary bedrooms. Although it is listed as a 3 bedroom house, it actually has 4 bedrooms - 2 bedrooms with king size beds, 1 with twin beds and the 4th is a small bedroom with a set of bunk beds. The kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of dishes of various sizes including what look like brand new bowls. The house is located on a quiet street within walking distance of Trout Creek Rec Center and the nature loop.

Stayed Sep 4, 2024The house was comfortable and commodious, with two master en suites which is perfect for sharing with two couples or families. Lots of nooks for family and friends to do their thing—puzzles, games, and excellent WiFi for working and play. A well- stocked kitchen and large dining table for group dinners was great! The location is terrific— beautiful and quiet neighborhood, and within walking distance of the Tahoe Donner rec center with Gym and pools, grocery and deli market, nature trails, golf course, and restaurant/bar. We so enjoyed our stay!

Stayed Jul 23, 2022House was large enough for the 6 of us. Can handle eight. Beds were comfortable. Sufficient kitchenware and seating, towels, toiletries. Kids loved the sandbox. Good internet connection and ample TV programming. A few minor changes would really add to the experience I.e. clean out kitchen cabinets, clean up/sweep garage, clean up loose building materials in garage and around the exterior of the house(found nails lying around). Also, more supplies for a two week stay would have been nicer. Kitchen/living room could use some type of cross ventilation (screen door on back door?) for the summer months.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house is great. Super functional and clean. Plenty of space to spread out with multiple decks to enjoy the trees and quiet. Location is perfect, 10 mins to Truckee, 5 minute walk to pool, gym, driving range, 5 min drive to pickle ball and tennis. 15 mins to Donner lake beach and 30ish to Lake Tahoe. Highly recommend!

Stayed Jan 12, 2022This was listed as a 3 bedroom, but was really a 4 with two masters. Very comfortable. There were snowshoes in the garage for use, which was great. Beds were comfortable. Internet worked great for Zooming and streaming.

Stayed Dec 23, 2021This cabin is just OK. We were very excited about the house given the number of 5 star reviews from prior visitors. The cabin is in an excellent location in Tahoe Donner – on a nice, quiet street and a quick drive to Truckee. The house itself is in fair condition, rather dated, and is pretty bare bones. The kitchen area is a galley and is cramped. The stove is electric, there is a potpourri of dishes and glasses, and the available appliances and utensils are older but workable. On the positive side, the heating system worked well and Vacasa service was responsive to helping address issues associated with a snowstorm. Efforts have been made to try to spruce up the cabin with some brightly colored furniture and sheets, but it’s still an older, not particularly well-maintained home in need of some updating. Would not stay again unless no other options.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This house is wonderful! So well appointed and in a perfect location for all the area has to offer. The neighborhood is blissfully quiet at night. The three outdoor decks are fantastic spots to dine, hang out with a book, or enjoy a glass of wine. We can't wait to go back!
