Forest District Escape with Pool and LSV

We did a huge family trip and rented two houses next to each other. This home was perfect for the quieter families. The size, the rooms the communal areas were just right for our use. Everything was clean and ready for us. The only feedback I have for the company is the washing machine had mold in it. We used the neighboring home we were renting to clean cloths which worked out but for future tenants that should be addressed. Otherwise, we loved this house. The bunk room especially was perfect for our 4 kids. We will be back!

I rented this house for my family of four, which included my 7 year old son and my 15 year old daughter, who brought two of her friends. My parents came as well. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the girls really loved the bunk bed room that had their own couch and tv. Plenty of showers, and very nice ones too. Beds were comfortable with extra pillows and each upstairs room had acess to the balconies. The heated pool was wonderful, especially because the weather wasn't always nice while we were there, having double red beach flags a few days. The kids were in the pool every single day. The management company was great, responsive. The pacman game in the loft room didn't work on arrival, when we told them, they literally brought out a new one the next day, above and beyond! The kitchen had every single item that you could possibly need, the best stocked house I have ever rented. The golf cart was loads of fun, we took it to the beach, around the neighborhood, Seaside shopping area, and to brunch. The girls really enjoyed the bikes as well. The location was perfect, a quick golf cart ride across the street to publix, and it was fun riding through the neighborhood to get to the beach or seaside. The nearby pickleball courts were fun as well, and the pools at the watercolor resort club. I would rent from this exact house again in a heartbeat!

Lovely house with plenty of room. Private pool was great and we loved the location. Everyone had plenty of privacy with their own bedroom and bathroom. Overall, very nice. There were a few misses. The house was not clean. All lights super dusty, garbage disposal full, and bowls of food in the microwave. The kitchen was really oddly disorganized and lacked a few basic items like pot holders. The sofa on the porch was broken in the middle. The two biggest issues we had were the golf cart lights did not work therefore leaving at night was tricky. Three different repair people stopped by and finally someone with the appropriate lightbulb showed up the night before we left. This was disappointing since we picked this specific house because of the pool and 6 person golf cart. The other issue was the window at the top of the stairs. We arrived on a cooler day thanks to the hurricane and the blinds where down. They next day we noticed some heat and saw that it was because the window was open. We tried to close it but it was super jammed. We reported it to the rental company and much like the golf cart, a few different groups stopped by to the fix it, had no luck, and boarded it up with carboard and tape. Finally, two days before we were leaving, the final group they sent it fixed it.

Great property! Everything was perfect for our group. Only one suggestion…the kitchen supplies need a little improvement. An addition of a frying pan is needed. Almost impossible to cook breakfast for a group with the existing pans.
