For Beach Connoisseurs: Classic Beachfront Cottage!

We enjoyed our time at the cottage! Clean with beautiful views! We will definately be staying again. The host was great.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful house and the hosts! The house and location were ideal. The house and the atmosphere provided the perfect stay for me, my daughter and her bridesmaids. The sunrises were beautiful . I / we lived everything about our stay here. We definitely will becoming back! Thank you again to the wonderful host!

Very convenient and the walk to the beach was great.

We stayed here for our daughter’s graduation weekend. There was plenty of room to spread out. The covered porch was perfect to enjoy the view on the rainy days and we loved the easy beach access. We found everything we could need in the kitchen, plenty of beach chairs and a cooler! We would absolutely stay here again!

The cottage does have a great location on the beach. The views and beach access are just as described in the property description. The upstairs bedrooms are clean and the upstairs bathroom has been updated and is nice. The kitchen is okay. However, the furniture in the house is dated, worn, and not comfortable both in the living room & on the screened porch. The AC works well but there is a lot of condensation coming out of the vents which created water droplets dripping down and some mold areas on the outside of the vents. The dining room had patches of mold on the walls, dusty old lampshades & furniture and we avoided that room completely. The downstairs rooms had dehumidifiers present but there was a strong smell of mold/mildew throughout this area and the TV did not work. The screened in porch has a nice view, with the hammock and fans but it does have some rips in the screens. We noticed some insects entering through these holes. The private beach access was nice but the boardwalks to the beach, had several nail heads sticking up and a lot of weak/cracked boards. We did not see a firepit. The patio decking was very worn and rough.

We had an AMAZING beach week at the spacious property. Plenty of room for friends and family to spend time together and everything you need to enjoy it. The screened in porch is absolutely fabulous and being able to walk back and forth to the beach so easily throughout the day was a dream! The owners seem to make small upgrades as needed and are very responsive. One suggestion we have is a couple of upgraded mattresses, but for the price and being right on front beach, no complaints from us! We’d love to stay there again.

Unconventional layout but perfect for our 2 families to share. Great location with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors and the house had everything we needed for the week.

Relaxing, comfortable, wonderful beach access

Our family had a wonderful time at this 'classic' beach house. The location is simply perfect, offering fantastic beach access right from the property. We spent countless hours on the screened porch, which was a real highlight and a great extension of the living space, complete with a lovely hammock.This cottage truly embraces its vintage roots, with a charming 60s/70s feel throughout the furniture, kitchen, and bedrooms. It's important to know that this isn't a modern luxury rental, but if that 'old-school' vibe is what you're looking for, you'll find immense charm here. The beach directly in front of the house is wonderfully uncrowded, making for very peaceful days. Plus, excellent restaurants are just an easy walk away via the beach or sidewalks. We rented bikes for the week but really didn't need them given how close everything is.While the deck and wooden beach walkway could use some attention, they certainly served their purpose. Overall, this home offers great value for the unique experience it provides. Just set your expectations for a charming, authentic beach cottage rather than contemporary furnishings, and you'll have a fantastic stay.

If you are looking for a great beach house with an unbeatable location, this is it. This property is the epitome of what a beach house should be. If you are looking for a newer luxurious beach mansion, this is not it. However, if you are looking to experience beach life as it's meant to be... this is perfection. Our group, which mainly consisted of teens just loved the feeling of slowing down. Everyone put their phones down, enjoyed the beach, the beautiful yard and the best memories were made playing board games at the dining room table! The home had everything you need to entertain, there is a grocery store 2 minutes away, enough beach gear for a big group and ample sleeping accommodations for everyone. The screened in porch was the highlight, sitting outside at night and listening to the ocean waves was like having a sound machine but the ocean sounds were real! Our entire group just kept saying, this house has great vibes - in teen speak, that is a huge compliment. :-) Is this house for everyone? Probably not. BUT if you are looking to step back in time and enjoy what a traditional oceanfront cottage has to offer, I can't recommend this property enough. My daughters keep thinking of reasons we need to go back for another stay. I can't say I blame them! We all loved it!
