It was a lovely property and we enjoyed our stay here.

We arrived and the house was not clean at all. We contacted the property manager and they got a cleaning crew over. The cleaning crew did a rush job and didn’t clean the Master Bathroom or downstairs bathroom. The sinks and showers were disgusting. The property manager offered to send a crew back but we ended up getting cleaning supplies and doing it ourselves. They were nice and refunded the cleaning fee.The owner scheduled major landscaping during our stay and we were not notified. We booked this property so we could take our dogs, we had to work around them and it was inconvenient. My car was blocked in the garage because the landscapers put a huge pile of mulch in the driveway. The communication was awful! The property manager did give us a very, very small refund (60) for the inconvenience.Overall, the house was spacious and worked for our family but the furniture was old and very uncomfortable (beds and couches). The couches in the upper living should be replaced. The house felt dirty but it could have been from the rush cleaning job. Not sure we’d ever stay here again.

Everything was as described. We had no issues during our week stay. We utilized all the rooms and were very comfortable. We used the grill one night without issues. We didn't get a chance to use the firepit. We definitely recommend this house for your stay. Quiet area too. Host is great to work with!

We enjoyed our stay in this great Monument property while house hunting. We loved relaxing by the fireplace on the very cold nights. Our dugs loved the backyard and the location was great! We even saw mule deer walking across the street several times.

Pretty much perfection. My only complaint would be the listing. It says pet friendly. However, after you book it tells you there's a two pet max and a 75 pet charge for each pet. I wish they would've disclosed this before the booking as I have three pets. I would have looked at somewhere else. Booking agent was accommodating.

Wonderful property, but two suggestions. The TV service is incredibly confusing. Subscribe to a standard array of cable or streaming channels and provide clear instructions for access in the info packet. Propane grill needs MAJOR cleaning or, better, replacement. Almost impossible to cook without grease fires. Tried to burn off before use. Better but not sufficient.

This house was perfect for our family if 5 and my parents. They had the room on the main level and we all had a room in the lower level. Lots of room to spread out but could also spend evenings playing games and watching the Olympics in the family room. Easy drive within 30 minutes of Colorado Springs. House was clean and owner was quick to respond with questions. Will stay here again if we visit Colorado again.

We very much enjoyed our 5 night stay at the property for our first time in the Co. Sprgs. Area. The property is perfectly located and has beautiful scenery itself. It’s probably the cleanest VRBO we’ve ever stayed at! Near grocery store and many other needed conveniences! Not so far out from Garden of the gods, Pikes Peak, etc. there was an issue with internet/tv, but we were able to access our personal Direct account in main living room only. Tried and tried with property info access, but never worked. We were able to watch tv after long days out in main room. Super spacious home! Basement rooms and area are great! Able to wash clothes also! Fully stocked with extras too! Thank you! Would definitely stay here again! Loved our stay!!

We were pleased

This is our second time staying here. We love to hike in the surrounding area. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is adequately stocked. We cooked a few meals in and have done a load or two of laundry with supplied detergent. Plenty of space to enjoy inside and outside. The yard is fenced. There is a wire fence attached to the wooden fence so your small dog won’t get out. We also spent a fair amount of time in Colorado Springs. It’s about half an hour away with lots to do. Yes we’d stay here again.
