The most stunning property in an idyllic location. La Flotte is beautiful and the centre is just a short stroll from the house, as is the fabulous daily market. Everything was perfect - apart from the weather! The house is very well equipped and stylishly furnished throughout. We had excellent communication with the owners who were charming. We cannot recommend this highly enough, we were two couples and a small dog and none of us wanted to leave. We will certainly be back.

Our Family of 6 adults and 3 children have just spent a week in this charming house. The house is listed for 8 but the delightful owner allowed us to bring a small put up bed for our 3 year old. The process of booking was easy and professional. All queries were answered swiftly. My husband and I had previously spent some time in La Flotte and loved it, so we wanted to take our 2 daughters and families there. The house was much better than anticipated from the listing, it was spotless on arrival and obviously well maintained and extremely spacious. The kitchen was very well stocked and the all rooms were tastefully decorated. The whole property was enclosed, making it safe for all the children, the front garden was ideal for al fresco eating and the back patio for quiet reading. The house was indeed 50m from the sea, very close to restaurants and bars. We visited the ancient market place for fresh produce every day, only using the car for the Supermarket shop once although there is a small supermarket in the town.The young ones hired bikes and cycled to St martin and grandparents walked along the coastal path. We would highly recommend this house for family holidays, for young and older children,( there was plenty to occupy all ages), but also for mature couples. We loved it so much we have booked it for next year.

We loved this house. We stayed here for a week at the end of June with another couple. It is spacious and bright and has fantastic living areas, both indoor and outdoor. The two outdoor spaces are private and contain beautiful garden furniture making meals and drinks in the garden highly enjoyable. The house is really tastefully furnished with fixtures and fittings of the highest quality and is very well equipped. The location at La Flotte is ideal. The house is right in the village, just minutes from the fantastic market, the harbour, restaurants and shops and yet it is really quiet and peaceful. The village is beautiful, small enough to feel intimate and uncrowded and yet big enough to offer a choice of places to eat and shop and it's a very enjoyable bike ride to beautiful beaches. The house is so nice that we ended up eating in more than we had intended, cooking food we had bought at the fabulous market. The quality of this house was a major highlight of our wonderful holiday on Ile de Ré.

We had a fortnight in this house and had the most amazing holiday. I don't speak much French so most of the booking was done with the use of Google Translate. The owner is very helpful and everything went very smoothly. The house is in a perfect location, close to the market a great selection of restauraunts, cafes and shops. Yet is is situated in a quiet street with a front garden and rear terrace so there is very little noise. The house is very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. I can't recommend this house highly enough.
