This place was terrific for us - well stocked kitchen, lots of towels, hot water, and above all the river right at the door. We really appreciated the portable fire pit on the deck as we sat next to it even in the rain. Saw huge flocks of Canada geese migrating, a resident Great Blue Heron, and more. lloyd was a great host and kept me informed when the power went out (we were at a movie during the windstorm). Everything was very clean and there was plenty of room for our stuff. It is a very long walk from the ramp to the unit and there's no internet in the house, though it's available in the art gallery. We used personal hotspots fine. We would have loved to use the kayaks but alas the weather was uncooperative. All in all we would definitely stay there again.

We had such a lovely stay. Being at the end of the dock gives you a sense that there is no one else around. You feel like you are in nature, the Eagle swooping down and catching fish right before our eyes was unreal. The house was comfortable and clean. We would stay here again for sure.

The house has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful getaway in nature. It is secluded and private. Bev was so generous with boats and everything we needed to have an amazing time on the river.

The hosts are fabulous. Thanks Kay & Lloyd. Everybody there, others that have boats moored there, we're just so nice and friendly. The house was clean and exactly as pictured on the web page.

I knew I would be heading into a challenging decision in my life, so I wanted to find something on the water to visit with local Vancouver friends and just be in a quiet, peaceful place while I navigated some changes. We spent hours on the deck just listening to the birds and frogs and visiting. I plan to come back regularly. This place will always have special memories for me. Bev was outstanding, an amazing host, and very sweet to check on me. :)

Loved this property. Lloyd and Bev go above and beyond with communication and assistance if it is required. House is lovely as is the view. Wish we'd have been there in warmer weather but will have to come back for that so we can further enjoy the river.

Something to do for everyone. We spent time on the kayaks, SUP's, and the pedal boat all supplied by Kadow's Marina. When not on the water the kids enjoyed fishing from the dock for hours, watching the deer, otters, and osprey catch fish. Would recommend this stay!
