Fleshbeck Cottage is a semi-detached cottage in the hamlet of Mansergh, an area of wooded hills and valleys, situated three miles from Kirby Lonsdale, in between the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks. One half of a Grade II listed farmhouse, built in 1717, which has beentastefully renovated. This cottage sleeps four people and has two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one twin, as well as family bathroom. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen, separate dining room and sitting room with an old range fireplace. To the outside of this cottage there is off road parking for two cars and a front garden with furniture and BBQ. Fleshbeck Cottage is a lovely holiday cottage for a family or couple who wish to explore the area.



The Neighborhood:

Situated in the heart of the Lune Valley, mid way between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District is the attractive market town of Kirkby Lonsdale. This charming and historic town was mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Book and holds a market charter from the 13th Century. This market continues on a weekly basis every Thursday and offers a perfect opportunity for visitors to explore the variety of distinctive shops in the town as well as the many 17th and 18th Century buildings. The picturesque Lune Valley was popular with the artist Turner and is host to the medieval Devil's Bridge that spans the river. There is a wealth of quiet country lanes in the area that are ideal for exploring by car, bike or even on horseback. There are also a number of other activities including golf, tennis, riding, fishing as well as a variety of riverside and country walks.
