Great location and great house, host was awesome also!

Our stay was good. The house fit our needs for 6 people. It was nice to have our own bathroom per couple. The master bath could use a bit of an upgrade but it was functional. Location was good and close to the highway. I gave a 4 out of 5 stars for listing and communication because there is a studio attached to the house but not mentioned in the listing. Was informed day of with my check in information that someone was living there but they are only there on the weekends. I only saw this person on Thursday. They use a parking spot in the driveway, but there was still plenty of room for us to park. We never saw their vehicle or heard them coming and going the rest of the time we were there. We still had the entire house to ourselves and backyard. So technically not a big deal, but I know someone else posted a review that it would’ve been nice to have known this in advance. It would not have detoured us from renting this house as long as I knew we had the entire house to ourselves which we did. As for communication with the host, I did inquire a couple of weeks prior to our stay about a couple of amenities and received a response within 24 hours. However, I did reach out two days before our reservation inquiring about the check-in process and never heard a thing until the morning of our reservation. It just made me a little nervous as I typically receive check in information from other hosts at least 48 hours in advance. But all was good in the end.

Affordable place to stay in West palm beach. House was in good shape and beds were very comfortable.

The neighborhood is nice however the 2nd night we were there when we returned to the house we found large bugs crawling in the kitchen. We immediately took pictures and sent messages to the host with no response. We took care of the bugs ourselves. The 3rd night when we returned from our activities same thing we found large bugs which looked like cockroaches crawling in the kitchen. Again took pictures and sent another message to the host. No response. We took care of the bugs ourselves. Our last day the day for us to check out I sent a message through Vrbo along with the pictures per their request and they contacted the host. At that time Vrbo was told the host had been offline and the bugs were only water bugs but they would have someone come out that day after we would already be gone to spray and that we would be reimbursed for the whole stay. Vrbo stated they would follow up. When Vrbo followed up about an hour later in regards to the refund we had not received it yet so they again contacted the host and then put it on a 3 way call to conclude they didn’t actually want to give a full refund. It ended they agreed to give 30% of the total stay. They also stated they have a tenant who stays in the attached part of the house on the weekends only and shares part of the driveway however they were there the entire time we were there which was Sunday-Wednesday.

First of all let me state the house on a scale of 1-10 was an 8, it could have used a little work. Secondly the house (kitchen, bathrooms, linens, etc.) was well equipped. All in all had we not experienced issues that we had not been informed of prior to our arrival rating would be different. When we arrived the host informed us that she had a renter staying at the house in an attached studio apartment and only be there during the weekend. Host also stated her tenant would only use the left side of the driveway. We arrived on Wednesday 2/18 and the tenant was there. The tenant was there every day until we left on Thursday 3/26 which was not just of the weekend. Also the driveway situation made it difficult for us to get in and out of the driveway, had I had a larger vehicle like Suburban I would have had to park the street. Furthermore the tenant had three children and you could hear them talking and yelling through the walls. They were also up at 6:00 AM every weekday making noise and which you could hear through the walls and running around the backyard. This was totally unacceptable and a blatant lie by the host that they would only be there on the weekends and that she had just rented the apartment as I searched the previous reviews and many people experienced the same issue as we did. There were also many issues with the house that there is not enough space to address here. My advice is rent elsewhere as this host is a liar and scammer.

This home is very clean and spacious. It has everything you need. Nicely decorated. However, the master bathroom definitely needs to be updated. Also, for some reason, we could not turn down the volume on the master bedroom TV. Other than these 2 things, we really enjoyed the house.

We knew we chose a home that was on the lower end of the West Palm Beach pricing, but didn't expect to find these issues. Started with a dead cockroach under the kitchen sink day one...at least it was dead and we didn't see anymore the rest of our stay. Kitchen was nicely updated, but the rest of the home was cheaply cleaned up / renovated...laminate flooring that wasn't installed correctly so that panels slid around under your feet constantly creating gaps, towel racks (2) falling / fell off the wall in the bathrooms, bathtub / shower drains that didn't...drain. Had to shut off water mid shower so as to not stand in six inches of water. Toilets that didn't stop running almost the entire time we stayed for four nights...and I tried to fix the flapper myself. Finally, there was a studio apartment attached to the home that we were not told about until the day of arrival. Was told by the owners that the person renting the space was only there on weekends. Guess for us that a weekend goes from Saturday to the Wednesday we checked out because they were there the whole time we were. Renter's daughter also had fun knocking on our windows and doors late in the evening and one bedroom could hear them talking through the walls. So if you want clean, quiet, safe, and solitary...this is not your place. If you want cheap and in a convenient West Palm location...give it a try.

Great hosts! Excellent location for our trip! Everyone had their own room and plenty of space to enjoy our family vacation. Access to the house was simple. TV was easily accessible - a must for my family! Thank you for such a nice stay!

Our week-long stay was good. It would have been great had we known there was a tenant staying on the property as well. We were not made aware of this until 2 days before check-in (past refund date).

Property was clean and spacious. It was conveniently located for the objectives that we had planned.

Booked the Villa to be on hand to attend brother’s silver anniversary and was happy that it was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. My kiddos and other siblings attending were able to have our clothes and makeup person attend to us at the Villa due to its closeness to downtown and roadways. Only issue causing me to take away a star was a driveway hiccup and rudeness not of the hosts though. They promptly communicated with us though and smoothed things perception wise so I would definitely use again. Thanks Ingrid for having a great home away from home for our family

Had everything we needed

This home was very nice and well kept. It was great to have a bathroom for each guest. The bathrooms could use some upgrades but they were fine. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The location was perfect for traveling to town and to the beach. We were here from PA visiting our daughter who moved here last year. We will be back.

We were left early and got back late every day so it served its purpose of 3 different rooms and 3 baths for 3 friends. Biggest issue was one night all the fire alarms simultaneously went off with 2 loud signal and lights flashing and then went quiet for about 10 minutes before doing it again. It did this 6 different times over the span of an hour from 1:30am to 2:30 am. The alarms were all hard wired and we had no idea how to get them to stop. Check out was super easy though unlike most rentals the check out list was very short.

This property is ok in general terms, but I do want to point out a major flaw: the king size mattress in the master bedroom is in terrible shape, you can not sleep on it. It has a hump in the middle and from there, you go downhill to the two sides. The bedrooms with queen size beds are fine. The 4th bedroom is not a bedroom, only has a small and uncomfortable futon. The bathrooms can use some upgrading, particularly the master bathroom, which btw is the smallest of the 3.

Very nice location to CACTI Park for Spring Training. House was very spacious and well appointed.

We were visiting WPB for the first time; Enjoyed the unit, good proximity to the activities we were there to experience: Baseball spring training, beaches, restaurants - all were easy to reach from this location. Unit was clean, very quiet home in a quiet neighborhood. Very spacious rooms and updated kitchen.

The accommodation was perfect. Spacious, clean and great location for getting to Cacti Park for the baseball games and for local food. We will try to book it again next year

Very nicely updated house in a convenient location. Big rooms and lots of space. I didn’t realise there were 2 dining rooms! Very nicely decorated too!

House is nice, open concept. Comfortable, 3 bathrooms to accommodate 6 guests.Don't be confused about 4 bedrooms, 1 is an office with a small futon. If we had 3 couples it would be fine, but we had 2 couples and 2 singles that weren't comfortable sharing a bed. Overall the house was nice, clean, and comfortable comfortable sharing a bed. The home is laid out well with room to spread out. Multiple bathrooms, convenient for families. Old Florida” neighborhood, may not be for everyone but located close to shopping, restaurants, beaches, etc. check in and out was seamless and host is friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again, thank you.
