Fish Camp - Backyard Caney Creek Fishing - 7.5 Miles from the Gulf

The property is great for kids and adults. We enjoyed our stay, it was peaceful and had everything we needed.

I can not say enough good things about this place. I mentioned that we wanted to smoke a brisket and our host went and bought a smoker!!! Communication was a breeze and answered almost immediately. The kitchen was amazing. It was enough to accommodate a large group. Everything you ever need is in that kitchen and it had cook books! The rooms were very nice and comfortable. We were in the main bedroom and the mattress was was amazing. The bathrooms are the star of the house! Dual showers and heated seats! The best part is everything is set up to accommodate a wheelchair! I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone.

We had an awesome stay! The accessibility features were great for us and I would recommend them to anyone who needs wheelchair accessibility. The yard is huge and was perfect for our dogs! Our host Mitch communicated well and made sure we were well looked after! The fishing was great- was able to catch redfish, black drum, sheepshead, catfish, speckled trout and even an alligator gar right off the dock. The lights in the fishing area light up the river for great night fishing! There are a couple good restaurants close, we loved tiki pizza and the crab trap grill. We are looking forward to booking here again and would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a nice private place on the water.

The house is beautiful, large and furniture was very comfortable. Mitch was very easy to communicate with. The house is beautifully decorated, and we had everything we needed, including lots of pots and towels. I will definitely stay at Mitch's place again.

We had a blast. The location is private and quiet. My grandson had the best time running around the open yard. The fishing was awesome the 1st 2 nights. We caught a 4 foot gar and at least a 3 lb blue cat.

our host was very responsive and nice. It was very nice of him to call and check on us. The house is nice, clean and spacious. We didn't catch very many fish, but had fun trying. If the house is available on our next visit we will stay again. A.A.

Very peaceful stay. Loved the fishing and spending time with family and friends. Very comfortable living arrangements. Will consider renting again in the future.

Wonderful House thank you Mitch, for always taking care of us and reaching out and making sure we were OK and to let us know about that awesome pizza place that was new in town we always trying to help small businesses as we’re also a family owned business and we just opened our daughter’s new livin salty business 3 years ago. the house was very roomy. We had plenty of towels plenty of space wonderful fishing place and was able clean the fish outside. Awesome lighting. We made some wonderful new family memories there very blessed. Definitely will be back.

This property is located in a quiet laid-back area. You were able to fish from the dock and enjoy the privacy. The house is huge and perfect for those who need easy access to all areas. The owner has wonderful communication. We will probably visit this place again and again.

The home doesn’t look as big as the pictures when you pull up in the driveway but when you walk in it’s as if you stepped inside Mary Poppins purse! The house is spacious and nice. Mitch is very responsive and gets back ASAP. Would stay here again!

The house is big enough for all the guest and if you are looking for a quiet relaxing place then this is it! The property manager is quick to respond about any needs you may have as well.
