Great place right on the beach We will be back!

This one is hard to review. The location is epic. The floors felts like it was a beach itself. We adjusted by putting on shoes. The showers were wet with hot water. We cooked well. The kitchen was well equipped - the best equipped I’ve ever seen at a STR. The cleaning crew needs to slow down and do a deep dive clean. If you don’t believe me, look behind the master bed or the TV in the den. The moisture will always be tough as it is as close to the beach as possible. Great location. House need a terrific de-humidifier. I would go back and I would know what I’m getting. I would take a floor cleaner to get it right when we got there.

Everything was great and we enjoyed our stay so much.Some of the cookware and dishes were not too clean. Like the dish washer mayh not have cleaned well maybe. But not a problem as they were easy to wash. Might have enjoyed a blit more hot water when everyone came in at the same time but again not a big deal.Thanks so much we had a wonderful time with the family.

The location was excellent and very close to the beach.

Great spit away from crowds

The large deck and beach view were a major winner. The house was clean and comfortable for our group of 8. Would definitely stay here again.

Had an absolute wonderful time. The hosts were very helpful from beginning to end. The bnb was beautiful with an even better view of tge beach. My goal was to stay away from the crowds, and was not let down. A very quiet area, and we had the beach to ourselves. A must stay, by all means!!

This was an ideal vacation .Loved the house and you can’t beat the view .We will be going again .

We enjoyed our time on the beach. The house is a perfect location and the hosts were great to work with.

We loved this location! The upper part of the home has 3 wonderful bedrooms (one is small with two twin beds - the other two are spacious) and two bathrooms. The views are gorgeous! The lower level has 2 large bedrooms and a full bath - However we were not able to use this area due to a very strong mold/mildew odor. The owners did try to help with this by providing a dehumidifier and spraying it. Unfortunately, that did not alleviate the strong smell. My younger son and his wife had to turn around and drive back home after traveling. The odor was too strong in those rooms to be usable. On a good note - the kitchen was well equipped. The owners were very kind and the rest of the home was very nice.

The house was beautiful, so was the view. The kitchen had everything we needed along with all that we needed to shower. Check in was very easy. Rick and Pam were easy to get ahold of if anything was needed.

Great location!! Perfect for early morning walks on the beach and sunsets as well. Well stocked kitchen area with all the spices, pans, pots, crock pots, etc. The young adults enjoyed the bottom two rooms and the cooler temperature of those rooms. I would stay there again for sure, only thing I might add is blinds would be great on the top floor to help keep it cooler. But, it still deserves 5 stars in my mind!! Hosts messaged during stay if anything was needed, but we never did need anything. Book this place, YOU wont regret!!

Excellent location! Everything was well stocked! The only thing was to get from the downstairs rooms to the one upstairs, you had to go outside and up the stairs.

The house was perfect: well-stocked, clean and cozy! I brainer for a re-visit!!

The location to everything was amazing loved how close we were to the beach. Great views. Super comfy beds. Great communication with the owners. We will be back again next summer.

This is a gem of a home to stay in Galveston! Literally steps away from the beach. Jamaica Beach area is perfectly positioned far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town yet close enough to venture in for more action and entertainment. The house is a great lay out. We had kids on main floor and the bedrooms in basement were like private suites. Property owners were warm, welcoming and helpful. We definitely would stay here again! 10/10 recommend!

This house was the perfect size for our family. We did have a problem with some loose rails on the deck railing, but the owner was at the house within an hour of reporting the problem and fixed the rails. We had two toddlers, so the quick repairs were appreciated. The house was well stocked, although it was good we brought plastic wear. There is a limited amount of silver wear. Even with our group of big eaters, the pantry was sufficient to hold all our food. We had thunderstorms for most of our stay, but the table upstairs was big enough for us to play cards to pass the time. I was particularly happy to see the gate at the top of the stairs, specifically because we did have toddlers with us. We just had a short walk to the beach. Since there were no houses between us and the beach, the view from the deck was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

Pictures are accurate! You are a few steps from the water! Can’t get any closer. We had 8 people for 6 days and were very comfortable. We cooked a lot and kitchen has everything. Nice big fridge. Lots of seasonings, oil, etc. Seating for 10 at 2 tables. Great A/C. Don’t need to bring beach towels or chairs or floats or toys. Lots of games and stuff in the den. Note the downstairs bathroom opens into one of the bedrooms, not Jack and Jill style. Bedrooms downstairs are basically just the beds. No closets or dressers. Stackable W/D works great. We took a pop up tarp for the deck. Be sure to anchor it down!! Great place to stay. Hosts are very available. We had a wonderful time!

This was the perfect spot for two young families to get away for a few days. Right on the beach in a quiet area. We had the whole beach to ourselves!

We loved the access to the beach. The house was smaller than we expected but we honestly had everything we needed, and our family of 10 fit comfortably. Walmart is close enough for delivery and getting to any of the activities in town is easy! The hosts were so kind and available if needed.

My kids, my family members and I really enjoyed our time here.

The location is absolutely perfect! It is within walking distance of the private beach. The large deck that overlooks the beach was nice for hanging out as a family! The property was very clean and there was room enough for our whole family. The hosts thought of everything from sand toys for the kids to use at the beach to beach towels. We would highly recommend staying here.

House was awesome, deck was perfect for chilling and listening to the ocean. Will definitely stay again.

Would do it again!

The property was amazing., right next to the ocean, not too close to neighbors, and amzing views. Owners were so nice and let us check in early as i had gotten food poisoning the night before. Owners were so helpful and could not ask for a better place to have stayed for our first trip to Texas.

This was a spectacular location. We loved being able to walk right out the door to the water and to open the door and hear the waves rolling in!

First vacation to Texas and it did not disappoint. The house was just what we where looking for. Rick and Pam were easy to get a hold of. hold of.

The location is great. Right on the beach. There are plenty of bath towels, beach towels (located under the large bathroom sinks), beach chairs and toys. We love the layout of the upstairs - 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and large family friendly living, dining and kitchen area. Great communication with the hosts. The only negative was the downstairs bedrooms and bath. There was a very strong mold/mildew smell.

It was an amazing trip! We were steps from the beach! Place was very nice and had plenty of room for all our party! Great hosts!

This property is amazing!! Steps from the beach in a quiet area. Very clean and thoughtfully appointed. We can't wait to come back.

First day, the cleaner was still there cleaning, 2 hours past check time. Didn’t change the sheets as we saw no linen leaving the house. Rick did compensate us for the lost time, however, after driving 5 hours, this was highly disappointing . The second day, we found mice droppings in pantry and under the kitchen furniture (after it was “cleaned” the day before) and the mice ripped open our food. Rich did come by and put mice traps. We left the food out on the tables, which gave us less space to eat and play games. The carport/ under the deck flooded due to an immense amount of rain and the lack of proper leveling of the ground. There was a hurricane the week prior, so I understand that happens. However, I did specifically ask Rick if everything was good to go for our stay and he assured me it was. It definitely wasn’t. The downstairs smelled like sewage for the next few days. Our family ended up digging ditches manually so the room downstairs didn’t flood (as they were starting to) until Rick came the next day to level out the ground. So the third day, we lived in a construction site. The fourth and fifth days were finally fine was nothing went wrong and we were able to enjoy the house as intended. The house itself offers GREAT space with a perfect location. Towels, toiletries, tvs/streaming, games etc etc were definitely appreciated. We were compensated for these issues which I appreciate but not enough to want to stay again.

The home is very accommodating to needs for a vacation. One thing that would help is if at least one other bedroom had double beds. It's right on the beach which was wonderful since my mother has a hard time walking. The view is fabulous and the balcony/porch is huge. We enjoyed the stay so very much and would use this house again.

This home was perfect for our large family! Great location right on the water. Owners are very accommodating and the house had all of the essentials and much more. Beds were co gotta me and great AC! Such a relaxing vacation.
