Stayed Jun 4, 2026This was a lovely house and a fantastic stay! The home was clean, in a great location, and the kitchen was extremely well-stocked (minus restaurant grade tongs!). We were attacked by a wild turkey defending her babies as soon as we arrived, but the office responded quickly and gave us clear directions, and the problem resolved itself. We have a rather ornery dog, and even he loved it. 5 stars, fabulous house, perfect vacation.The one thing I'll mention is the beach photo labeled property grounds wasn't a beach we could find. We did search for an area that could be considered on the grounds, but it didn't seem to exist. No matter really, we find Nickerson ponds are the best place to bring dogs at peak season, so that's where we spent our time. But I did rent the house thinking there was a beach within walking distance, so maybe just update the heading on that one picture so people aren't confused.

Stayed Apr 11, 2026The house was bright and clean and very well appointed. Thoughtful extras like big towels and plenty of night lights were appreciated. Communication with the hosts was excellent. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night. The central location in a quiet neighborhood was perfect.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025Great location, big house and super easy to check in. The home was clean and had more than enough space! The bedroom with the single bed is through the master but it worked for our family. My only recommendations would be to bring cups as the house doesn’t really have any regular drinking cups and extra blankets as the AC works really well! Communication with the rental was also great, they were very responsive!

Stayed Jul 12, 2025This house was perfect for our family! It’s a 1/2 mile from the lake beach and about 15min drive to the ocean beach. The house has a grill, fire pit, game room, basketball net and ball, outdoor shower and beach chairs. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back next year!
