Fire Pit & Stunning Lake Views: Shell Knob Home!

This was the forth time I stayed there, the yard was not well kept the weeds where two foot tall and low water pressure in both showers, but will book again

Great location, clean and quiet. We enjoyed the home and was the perfect place for our trip to Black Oak Mountain Amphitheater, nice drive to Lampe too.

Great location to be close to the water- house was very clean. Loved the lay out and view- it was a bit difficult to get to with a boat trailer.

Great location! Close to the grocery store. Very clean! Liked the 2 different seating areas. Driveway was rocky and steep, but manageable in a car. Our SUV handled it great.

The house is very nice, we got some ants in the kitchen trash are area, water pressure in the master shower is very weak I think the shower head needs replaced, the driveway is washed out, good thing all out vehicles are 4x4, but all in all Id book again

A very quiet place to stay. The only problems we encountered were losing electricity for about 3 hours, but the owner was right on it when we called him. There are stairs up to the house that really need a hand rail installed. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

This is a nice place to stay. I think the pictures are misleading as far as the location is concerned. There is not a boat ramp or dock within close walking distance. Make sure you read the details and don’t just look at the pictures. Location is good. House is nice, as pictured. We enjoyed staying here.

Very roomy and nice. Close to dining and recreation. Enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. Pretty view of the bridge also.. A little hard to find since our navigation didn’t pick up once we got off the highway.. Needs a little better signage and driveway a little rough. Other than that we were completely satisfied and would definitely stay again..

The house was fantastic for our family of 8. Great layout for us and also had stocked house staples so we didn’t have to bring a bunch of extras. The only thing I will say is the driveway coming down really needs 4wheel drive, we made it ok but the other car had some trouble getting out. Definitely have a plan for your boat because unfortunately it won’t make it down to the house nor was there space to park it. On the upside our contact did provide us with a parking spot for our boat across from the public boat ramp that worked out perfectly. Overall totally recommend this property for a family friendly vacation!
