Stayed Oct 4, 2018Great place with all the amenities, quiet and beautiful surroundings. The owner is incredible friendly and gives you all the information and more that you need to know. The best thing as well is the location as very close to all the castles, churches and everything to visit around Fussen which is a lovely place. Highly recommended. We hope to go back Clara

Stayed Aug 20, 2018Having only previously stayed in hotels or caravans when on holiday, we weren't sure what to expect, but we genuinely couldn't have wanted for more. Located a short 20min walk outside Fussen, the cottage is probably as close as you can get without being in Fussen itself. Fronted by fields and trees (and a couple of cows), it felt like we were in the countryside. My whole family had a great holiday here and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Stayed Apr 27, 2018Everything went good. No way to find a negative point to this holiday, starting from the house booked. Really close to the most famous Bavarian Castle and to the so nice Fussen town... garden around the house was very appreciated by my two children for their relaxing play; internals were perfect, with all furniture and commodities you may need during your holidays; Mr. Franz was very kind and all booking process went good with no kind of problems. Landscape you may see going around in the south of Bavarian area is something you may not imagine... Really, I'd suggest all you to have my same experience. Enjoy Fussen, Bavaria and this house...

Stayed Oct 4, 2017This honestly is a great vrbo - It’s an entire house, hidden away, off the beaten path and at the same time it’s a very short drive to both castles. It’s spacious and quiet and the only neighbor in the next house is very nice. It has a fridge, dishwasher, oven, clothes washer, tv, couch, two bedrooms, nice shower in the bathroom, lots of cooking utensils, good sized kitchen table, comfortable beds, nice fenced yard. Not sure what else one would need in a vrbo?

Stayed Jul 11, 2016We booked this summer-house in the period of 11th July - 21 July 2016. We enjoyed very much our stay. The interior of this house is decorated by charming vintage style with modernized kitchen and bothroom. All utilities in the house functioned well. Franz (the son of house owner) has been very helpful and friendly. We were amazed by the great location of this house. It is walking distance to both Schloss Neuschwanstein and Schloss Hohenschwangau. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to city center Füssen. And it takes not more than 30 minutes to drive to the wonderful Ehrenberger castle in Austria!! We will not hesitate to recommond this holiday home to our friends! Anders from Norway

Stayed Jul 3, 2016Our stay at the cottage was wonderful. The cottage is in a great location within walking distance to Fussen and Schwangau, but it is secluded and peaceful. We arrived very late on the first day. The directions were very good and it was easy to find the key box with a flash light near by for easy access. The first morning, I took the short walk to Schwangau and was amazed that we were so close to the castles and restaurants. I stopped by the Thermal spa and signed my wife up for a full body massage. The heated saltwater pools were awesome. There is a dairy farm the top of the hill and with a very friendly dog. Fresh milk was only one Euro. Make sure you take the container provided in the kitchen. It is an easy drive to the castle. We arrived at 0730 and there was a short line for tickets that went on sale at 0800. We were able to see the first castle at 0855 and the second castle at 1155. Latter that day we took the cable car to the top of the mountain. Make sure you have plenty of Euro because the folks on the mountaintop do not take credit cards. Fussen was less than two kilometers from the cottage. The river that runs through Fussen is the most beautiful clear green color. The old part of Fussen was nice with a great museum with information about the violins and musical instruments crafted by hand. It was also interesting to learn about medieval commerce and the how the monks lived. The Helmerhof Hotel restaurant was very good and is only 400 meters away from the cottage. You just need to walk up to the dairy farm and take a left. There is a grocery store in town and the kitchen in the cottage was fully equipped for making meals. We cooked our own meals most of the time. The bedrooms were upstairs with a nice balcony where we relaxed and played cards. We did not spend much time in the cottage because we were too busy enjoying the fantastic scenery and attractions. I would stay again. I only wished that we had rented bikes.

Lot's of room to spread out and newly decorated and very clean. All new appliances. Easy 3 minute drive into town or to the Castles. Wi-Fi works very fast. It eEven has English news TV stations.
