We stayed at Feathered Acres relatively last minute (thanks Trisha!!) after making some travel plan changes and we had such a wonderful time. Travelled with mom and my two toddlers and we all had a blast. We stayed in the smaller studio unit the first night and the larger two bedroom unit the second night and both were so cute, thoughtful and comfortable! The studio can easily house 3 adults if needed and had a curtained off area where we stuck our toddler's pack n plays, and is a bit more rustic than the larger unit but was still very charming and had everything you need. The larger unit was so beautiful, has a really gorgeous view of the property and nature, feels really luxurious and was just so fun. Neither unit has a bathtub, so keep that in mind for littles but we bathed our toddlers in the large sinks in both units and they loved that and didn't want to get out. But really the best part of either place is the farm and host. Trisha is so kind and passionate about what she does. We got to see what a real farm looks and operates as and her passion for ethical and humane farming was so fun to learn about. We saw chickens, geese, cats, dogs, sheep, an alpaca, and then they are primarily hog farmers an saw the pigs as well! All of the animals were used to visitors and the cats and dogs especially couldn't be more friendly and come right up to you. Truly a special place, thank you so much!
