Stayed Dec 31, 1969Shortly after we got a home we were unpleasantly surprised by a claim for damages. Apparently some moist had damaged a window sill was in the bathroom. Who has a bathroom that can’t handle a bit of moist? And has the nerve to charge hundreds of euros to get it fixed? We got in touch with VRBO about this and are still waiting for an answer. It is a classic tactic of not bothering to reply and hope we will let it slide eventually and pay for it. In the attic above the master bedroom is a loud ventilator that keeps going 24/7, yet another example of bad engineering. More noise? O yes, outside next tot the terrace is another machine chugging away. Why not has t this installed in the shed next to the house, where no one can hear it? We paid a lot money for our stay and expected to have some well deserved peace and quiet, without any hassle.
