I will start off with, we don’t require a lot when we go to the beach. We just need a place to sleep, get ready at, and eat breakfast. Upon arrival, we found the cleanliness wasn’t the best. Our night stand had an old contact lens on it so it cleaned, dishes had to be washed before we could use them, and my sister in law got a cup out of the cabinet that had been used for painting! The internet was horrible. It buffered more than it worked. None of the outside doors opened or closed properly. Overall, we had a good week at the beach but for the price we paid for this house, it should have been better maintained.

This property was fantastic with the amazing views of the ocean. Having a pool was a nice feature however would have liked if it was heated and although there were plenty of lounge chairs by the pool they needed cushions as they were very uncomfortable. Also it would have been nice if there were some sort of chairs for the beach and beach towels. When traveling it would be impossible to drag these things with you.

Wonderful location with plenty of parking. The kitchen is well stocked. Spacious and clean. The one improvement that would be such an asset would be more seating in the living area. There is plenty of room to add additional seating. For this home to accommodate 14, unfortunately the living room only seats 5 to 6.

We really enjoyed the house. Location was AWESOME! There was direct beach access and the pool was great even during the Christmas holiday. House was clean but they did have sugar ants on the dish sink in the kitchen window, it did get into our fudge and honey. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils. It also had plenty of plates, cups, coffee cups and eating utensils. The upstairs was HOT! Tried to get the AC to work but it would not cut on, 1st floor worked great. It was unseasonably warm but would have liked to have air at night. They did have fans that helped. Tried to open windows but not 1 window would stay open without something holding it open! I will say we did not call the property manager about this problem, they may have helped ( it was Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).Bedroom & bathrooms were clean. If you don’t like stairs think twice, but this is expected withs beach home in our opinion. The bbq grill was small. Beds were soft, it felt like I was sleeping in a marshmallow lol but it was comfortable. TVs worked great with all of our online streaming services! Bunk room was cool for kids but no TV. The bottom floor bunk room was underwhelming with literal cots stacked 2 high, but it did have a TV. I think the deck was the best part! Loved sitting and watching the ocean!!! Overall we would book again and we enjoyed our Christmas here with our family!!

Our extended family of 9 had a great time right on the beach. We could easily walk over to the shoreline without needing to drag a bunch of things with us. The pool area was a great place to relax. The spacious kitchen allowed mealtimes to flow smoothly. The bedrooms were spacious and allowed each family unit some quiet time. I'm definitely bookmarking this house for future trips.

Beautiful view and cozy home! Very well stocked with cooking supplies. Had to call for an outdoor step to be repaired shortly after arriving and worker was prompt to fix! Unit next to us was sprayed for bugs and almost immediately after we started seeing cockroaches in our living area. Carports could be swept as we popped two tires backing out that had to be repaired as a rivet was left in the carport. Some repairs could be made to the home and would have loved to have lights on back patio area for nighttime hangout but Would we stay again?! Absolutely!! Perfect location!

Overall our stay was great. The house fit the needs of our family and having a pool with little kids was one of the reasons why we rented at this location. We had a couple issues, but White Shores was quick to respond to our problems.

Great location with easy access to private beach and pool. Easy Walk to local store and ice cream. We love this area of Gulf Shores and will definitely stay in this house again.

Great place to stay with multiple families

The place was clean and had plenty of room for the 7 adults and 5 children ages 4-12. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean. We did however have some issues. The internet/tv didn’t work for almost 2 days which was a problem for the kids and tablets. It took awhile before someone came out and then it took 2 different technicians and technical support to get it working. The air conditioner stopped working but someone did come out to fix it rather quickly. We did have a couple rather large cockroaches, one was found on the counter by the food. As a precaution we threw out any food the wasn’t sealed. We would run out of hot water. The washer needs to be cleaned. It had a bad odor in it and the inside seal was black. We only washed what we had to, mainly towels. The beach access was difficult and quite a walk for some of us with back and leg issues. So much so that 2 of the adults only went to the beach 1 time. To some that might not seem like much but for those of us with issues it was painful. I would recommend staying at one of the places that had beach access with a boardwalk over the dunes. In the description of the property it listed a grill. The grill that was provided was a small portable charcoal grill that was exposed to the elements and therefore was rusted and missing part of a leg. We chose not to use it even though we brought quite a bit of meat for grilling. The neighbor used it by propping the leg up with the grill brush. I hope this helps someone.

Only recommendation would be to have a small stocked pantry: salt and pepper, spices, a few laundry pods, coffee filters etc. Still FIVE STARS!

Great accommodations and perfect location for a 3 generation holiday in Gulf Shores. Chandler was easy to access and communicate with. Certainly would stay again!
