While this place was very clean and Becca the maintenance manager was excellent and responsive, the price for this unit is too high for this outdated room and older complex. It's nice to have the pool and hot tub, but the price doesn't justify it. The huge problem for me was the wifi. High speed internet was advertised, those were exact words in the listing, and I booked the room because of that because I had to work remotely; the internet was slower than slow, absolutely not high speed. Painfully slow, so much that I had to work from the public library. This wifi claim is false advertising ( but I did get a break on the rate because of this). Also, the TV did not work in one of the rooms. The complex is in an excellent location, however, as you can walk to the Crepe wagon, Dunkin, and the library, plus you're in between Ogunquit to the south and Kennebunk to the north. The owner must have hired a Vogue photographer, because the room wasn't as bright and cheerful as it appeared in the pictures. For the same amount of money, you can get a more modern, upgraded room out there.
LEAST DESIRABLE UNITS IN THIS GREAT LOCATION WITH MOST FINE AMENITIES. Units need updating and repairs to security features. Furniture was worn and the one overstuffed chair let you set most close to the floor! Our requests for some easy repairs/fixes of problems (i.e. security - door locks and windows ), were verbally responded to via text messages quickly, but these easy fixes were never performed during our stay. Other responses to non-security issues ( i.e. WiFi not working in one unit ) were just SOP statement - , paraphrasing here/e.g. We're checking on it and will get back to you. VACASA/VACASA of Maine/Local Owner-Mgt did not fix these small problems during our stay.
