In 2017 renovated house in the heart of the old town of Gransee you can cook together in the fully equipped kitchen with exit to the inner courtyard and after a nice holiday in the good room at the old tiled stove end the day. The 2 spacious bedrooms with double beds guarantee a comfortable sleep.
The new bathroom has a floor-to-ceiling shower.
When the weather is nice, the courtyard invites you to have a barbecue or to have breakfast in the sun.

Note: One bedroom is in the attic. The staircase is quite steep.

Gransee with its medieval town center can be the starting point for many holiday activities.

Pack the swimming trunks! many clear bathing lakes are reached by bike or car quickly.
Bicycle Tour Gransee from there are well-developed cycle paths in all directions, through forests, around lakes, along shady path is the goal!
Pretty cities like Rheinsberg, Neuruppin, Lindow, Templin are reached in about 30 minutes.
Capital visit Leave the car standing! The regional press will take you to the center of Berlin every hour in only 40 minutes.

Or simply spend a day in the city, where you will find many sights, museum, city gate, Pulverturm, church, monastery and a beautiful town with a clear bathing lake.

Where to go by car
The parking spaces in the school street are free of charge and there is also one in front of the house, if it is not occupied.

The house was charming, clean, well equipped, and comfortable with fine attention to detail.The outside space was well maintained and even though the house is located within the town of Gransee, outside was quiet and peaceful. The owner was friendly, and made sure that our arrival was welcoming. Gransee itself is a lovely old town with cobble-stoned streets and much history including a medieval cloister and church which are less than a minutes walk from the house. The church holds summer concerts, and there are nearby cafe/ bakeries, as well as two supermarkets within walking distance. There is a train station about 1.5 km away that serves Berlin city centre (journey time is about 50 minutes) with trains departing hourly. An adult day ticket for the return train trip and service on Berlin's underground cost 13.80 euro. Outside Gransee there are many small towns, nature trails and lakes that can be reached by car or bicycle. Thus Gransee can offer the peace of a small town, with the option of countryside and city excursions - a very pleasant getaway that can cater for diverse interests.
