Famous Gingerbread House named Seashrimp across from Oak Bluffs Harbor

The house is stunning and has everything you could possibly need for an amazing MV vacation. The host was very communicative and kind. She is very proud of her home and it shows in the best way possible. Very convenient location for our teens to be independent during this trip. Steps from Circuit Ave, the beach and the public bus. The adults took advantage of the gorgeous outdoor spaces the house offers. Kitchen is a good size and well stocked.

We had a fantastic stay. The property is without a doubt one of the most special in Oak Bluffs. My family felt very comfortable, and we were delighted by the proximity to the heart of town. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a home away from home within walking distance of the beach.

Lovely house in an unbeatable location! We didn’t have a car and had no problem getting around walking, riding bikes or taking the bus. You can park in the driveway if you do bring a car. The house was clean and ready early for us. Laurie is very helpful and checked in with us about our stay. Our party consisted of two families. The upstairs functioned as a separate apartment for the second family, but as another reviewer commented you must walk through the first upstairs bedroom to get to the second bedroom. This is just something to keep in mind if your group requires more privacy, but it worked very well for us.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The house was exactly as described—beautifully maintained, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The location was ideal, offering both peace and tranquility while being just a short drive away from Circuit Avenue and Nancy's. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and create wonderful memories. We would definitely return and highly recommend this holiday house to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

I stayed here with my wife and two young children, and our stay was excellent! The house was fantastic - clean, well-stocked, and in a phenomenal location. We would absolutely do it again.

We had the best time at the Sea Shrimp! You cannot beat the location to everything in Oak Bluffs. During our stay, many vacationers stopped and took photographs of this beautiful home and it’s well manicured floral landscaping. We will definitely stay here again and theowner was a pleasure to deal with.

We were lucky to find availability of a gingerbread cottage on just 2 weeks notice. The host was very helpful with providing tips and suggestions to navigate the trip. The cottage was listed as a 3 bedroom / 2 bath accommodation but the 2 bedrooms upstairs were essentially the same room You had to enter a bedroom to access the 3rd bedroom which was a little off putting for our invited guests to say the least . We made it work but buyer beware. The front door key sticks and made it difficult to enter the home. Definitely needs to be repaired. Otherwise the location was a great central location and the kitchen was nicely stocked with appliances and such. Overall we enjoyed our stay and can’t wait til our next trip to Oak Bluffs
