This property was perfect for our needs. Everything was furnished and the view was outstanding.
We stayed here along with several of our adult children and their families so we could attend our son's wedding. We had a total of 12 adults and 10 children. After the wedding we stayed a few extra days to explore a number of nearby places: Garden of the gods, Pike's Peak, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Glen Eyrie, and North Cheyenne Cañon Park.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the property. A couple of days were a bit warm but we did not feel uncomfortable in a house with no air conditioning. The view of the mountains is amazing from the deck. The size of the house was perfect for 22 family members. Only downfall was the basement refrigerator was not working properly but we only needed the one in the kitchen. One of the toilets leaked a little but we had 6 other toilets that worked. We would definitely recommend this property to others.
Excellent accommodations. Highly recommend.
The home easily accommodated 20 people in a beautiful setting. The listing did not indicate there was not air conditioning. The home did not seem to have been professionally cleaned. The property and the listing was cheapened by the fact that there were not suffice and updated housekeeping items, such as dish towels, dish cloths, trash bags, etc. We did not appreciate the unannounced visit from the property owner. Their check list for things to be done when leaving (quite extensive), should also equal a “check-in” list of items a client would expect.
This big house was even better in person than the pictures online! The views all around the secluded property were absolutely beautiful! We had 20 people stay for a week and the house had so much space that you didn’t feel on top of each other. Our host Christine and Eric the property manager were quick to respond to any needs that we had. We had the best reunion and highly recommend this property!
We had 24 family members who gathered together in the house. It worked well for us.
The house was as advertised. It was a great place for 24 of us from all generations to spend time together and enjoy the activities that the area offered.
Very happy
First time my family has traveled to Colorado and this was was great to accommodate a large group of people. There were plenty of sitting areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and activities entertain kids. You have easy access to both Denver and Colorado Springs with a short drive. Overall we had an awesome time.
The house is incredible. The hpuse is spacious and has floor plan allowing for privacy for all. The view from the backyard of Pikes Peak is magnificent. Everything was as advertised.
Great house to just relax and take long walks. Close to Colorado springs house is well equipped and our bridge group enjoyed their stay.
We had a wonderful trip! We spent several days with our families (8 kids 2 months - 6 years old and 10 adults) and there was MORE than enough room for everyone! We also had a small wedding on Saturday and it was absolutely perfect, the view, the deck, the space.. no one felt cramped or crowded. It was beautiful! The house is so spacious and in a great location! The kids loved the jungle gym outside and playing games on the lower level. We were incredibly happy with our stay and would definitely stay there again in the future.
The place was exactly as perfect as the reviews described. We had enough room to thoroughly enjoy the property and different activities. We did not use the space with children, but there appeared to be tons of stuff for kids to enjoy. As we were an adult crowd we spent a night playing cards, ping pong and pool. We spent time cooking and eating. Everyone enjoyed, and as expected in the area, we had a severe wind storm that one of the owners stopped by to remedy a couple of things. Altogether, we all had a great time! I would definitely book again with a crowd!
Everything was excellent couldn’t have been better!!!
Large vacation home accommodated our family of 20. The house sits on acres of land with beautiful views and outdoor activities and lawn games, including basketball and playhouse with swings. After a long fun filled day, the hot tub was a luxury. The front deck area was nice for relaxing and reading.. Ample outdoor and indoor seating. Kitchen layout worked perfect for our large group, including extra kitchen space downstairs. Expansive recreation room with ping pong, pool table and card table. Homeowner was extremely helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this vacation home!
I looked at a lot of houses for our tenth family vacation and to celebrate our fiftieth anniversary. I was always drawn back to this house. We had 21 family members ranging in age from 6 to 76. The house gave everyone a chance to gather together or be in smaller groups. Few houses have a music room, and it was a joy to hear a grandchild playing the piano. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare delicious meals. The location was the best. You have to love sitting outside or in the hot tub and looking at Pike’s Peak. Thank you for such a memorable vacation.
Great place for our family reunion. Lots to do, comfy beds, lots and lots of space and a great host. Would rent it again and again.
We had a great week at Bluebird. The house is huge! Pictures really don't give you an idea of how big the place is. It never seemed cramped for our four kids, their spouses and 14 grandchildren. The house and grounds are beautiful. The kitchen and dining areas were perfect. The hot tub and playground equipment got a lot of use. And the location was great for our Colorado Springs activities. If we come back to the area with the family, this will be where we stay.
We had family from Alaska, California, Texas and Oklahoma. This home and grounds met all our varied needs and expectations. Great property. Very comfortable and fully equipped.
Beautiful location, perfect for USAFA graduation!
We loved the house and property! The kids wanted to stay at the house instead of going out! They spent so much time in treehouse and playing horseshoes. House sits up high with beautiful view of Pikes Peak. The kitchen has everything you need and we enjoyed cooking family dinners. It’s all just as described with plenty of room for large group. Absolutely wonderful!
Worked well for our needs and desired retreat outcomes. We were a group of 7 couples and 7 out of the 8 bedrooms had queen or king beds.
Beautiful place and beautiful view of Pikes Peak. Lots of room to be together and also lots of room for separate activities with the large basement with pool table and ping pong. Enjoyed our visit.
This was a great location, peaceful, and plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and have some quiet nooks to reflect. The kitchen was great too! It was an easy and relaxing experience. Thank you Chris for sharing your beautiful home with exquisite views!
