Family Retreat with Great Location to Downtown and the Beaches!

Lovely home! Open living space great kitchen a room for everyone in the family. To top it off an adorable outdoor area for relaxing and entertaining! Loved this home! Every morning I was able to take a walk to the water ,watch the sunrise and the dolphins at play. A truely therapeutic get away! We visited at Christmas time and the hosts decorated which really put us all in the beautiful holiday spirit!

Loved this home. Adorable. Clean. Great location. We walked to Old Town (about 1 mile). Nice quiet neighborhood but close to all the action. Well equipped kitchen. Would stay again.

The rooms were a great size, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed as did the laundry area.

What a wonderful house! Very well stocked and organized. So many little things set up for guests like chapstick, shower caps even a pirate scavenger game and prizes for children. The beds were so comfortable and we appreciated the luggage racks in the bedrooms. All 4 bedrooms were comfortable and very clean. House was large and had a living room and a family room. We early birds could get up and sit in the family room and not disturb Anyone.The backyard was so relaxing and beautifully decorated. Can’t beat the location of the house it was very close to historic downtown but in a quiet neighborhood. One of the best houses we have ever rented. The owners were very easy to communicate with.

This is a lovely home in a quiet, shaded neighborhood. We could walk to Downtown St. Augustine in 20 minutes, which was helpful during a busy holiday weekend. Tom was very friendly and communicative. The home was just as described, with fun touches and lots of great books about the area. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, safe neighborhood within walking distance of great restaurants and a short drive over the bridge to historic downtown. The home is quiet, clean and comfortable. The beds are great, lots of seating and dining areas. We were grateful to have been able to bring our small dog. The ONLY issue I had was that inside the home was hot. Bring a fan if you need to be cool, especially at night. They control the AC and only allow it to go to 74 at night. As soon as the sun comes up it goes right to 76. The master bedroom and bunk room get really hot. I know it’s hot this time of year - we are Floridians, but it was a little too warm inside for our liking. We would definitely rent this place again, just not in the summertime. We still give it 5 stars. The pros definitely outweigh the cons.

The house is in a great location, spotlessly clean and very private. We loved the 1 mile beautiful walk to the historic district which saved us in parking fees and navigating traffic. Home is very spacious and well equipped, and we had an absolutely wonderful time in St. Augustine.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Mahon! The location was perfect with easy access to historical St. Augustine sites, shopping as well as the beaches all while having the comforts of home! Our family of 8 all had their own private, plush rooms that were beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable! The mattresses provided very restful nights of sleep so you were ready to start your day. The kitchen was modern and updated with all that you would need to fix a meal. The laundry facilities was a nice way to come back home without all that laundry waiting for you. I would totally recommend a stay at Casa Mahon!! Thanks for making our vacation complete!!

Wonderful stay in this family home . Able to walk to downtown. Host has thought of everything to make for a pleasant vacation. Quiet, friendly neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants. We would highly recommend.

The property was perfect for our group size, especially sleeping arrangements. The large table was perfect for cards and board games in the evening. We were minutes from our restaurant choices and the beach. I am very pleased with the entire experience. It seems like every detail was thought of and taken care of. There were plenty of towels for everyone, but we did run short of wash cloths.

House was fantastic for group of friends. Away from hustle and bustle but close enough. Very clean and had everything you need for a long weekend. Enjoyed the patio in the evenings. Beds comfortable. Owner was quick to respond with any questions. Perfect location for playing some golf, a fishing trip and only an hour drive to the race.

The house is located very close to the St Agustine down town and the light house. The house was very comfortable and clean. Every single detaile was taken in consideration, we even had Christmas decoration . It was like being home. Wreallyhad a greattime and will hug.

Prior to the trip and during it the communication was outstanding. The host answered all questions completely and quickly. The rooms all are designed with themes. They are very well done. My grandkids loved the Pirate Room! Once we were settled in I told them about the pirate scavenger hunt. They had so much fun and then to get a goody bag after finding everything! The house has a beautiful courtyard behind the house but unfortunately the couple times we tried to go out and relax it started to rain. It is a nice neighborhood, great for walking. It is exactly one mile from the house across the bridge into the historical district of St Augustine. That was wonderful as we always walked into town instead of fighting traffic and searching for parking. Look no further, this is the place for your family!

Location was great for us to use the rental golf carts we got in town to drive around and enjoy St Augustine Festival of Lights at night after a great concert at the Amp. Our Friendsgiving was amazing, this was perfect for the 3 couples and 2 friends to sleep comfortably. Thanks Tom!!!

My husband and I and another couple spent 4 days / 3 nights at this house. We had the absolute best time! The house is beautiful and well stocked with everything you need! The hosts are very responsive when you reach out to them. It’s in a great location! We will definitely be back!

The property is lovely and located in a quiet neighborhood. Upon arrival we found a gift basket in the kitchen as well as toiletries in both bathrooms. Each room was thoughtfully appointed . Our family of 7 had plenty of room to enjoy time together as well as privately . The enclosed patio is beautiful and provides another space for dining as well as relaxing . Beach chairs , umbrella and towels are also provided .The owners included activities for kids and great information ( maps, brochures) for all visitors. Highly recommend.

8 members of our family came to St. Augustine to have a family vacation together. This rental house was perfect to accommodate all of us! It is beautifully decorated and so clean! I love that each room has a theme. They had great little activities at the house that our younger kids really enjoyed! They have it well stocked with all kinds of things...games movies, etc. The property owner was great and very responsive! I highly recommend staying here! You won't be disappointed!

Perfect location with walking access to restaurants near by and over the bridge for downtown and the fort. Easy drive to beaches. Big bedrooms, several family rooms, beautiful patio with lots of seating. Full kitchen, laundry, dining, and bbq. Easy parking and great neighborhood and neighbors.

Very impressed. Was probably the cleanest home we have ever rented. I highly recommend this lovely home!!
