This has been our family's vacation home since the 1950s. In the past few years, we've updated the interior without violating the character of the classic beach bungalow. Stayed Aug 23, 2023Our family of 4 stayed at Dunroamin for 8 days in August and had a great time! The house was perfectly situated between the beach and town. The house was clean, tidy and had plenty of books and toys to keep our 4 and 1 year old kids occupied on the rainy days...and great beach toys for them to use on the sunny days! Aviva was very responsive leading up to the trip, answering our questions about the house and Fire Island in general and the house instructions were super clear and organized. Ocean Beach has it all: beautiful beach, great restaurants, cute shops, ice cream (!!), a playground, a swimming area in the bay and more. We will be back!
