Stayed Aug 4, 2018We had a lovely family holiday in Berck. Madame Bouville is a lovely host,very warm and welcoming,although she doesn’t speak much English and I do fear some of the instructions were a little lost in translation. Saying that,she spoke clearly and slowly to me to make sure I understood. The house is lovely,I would,however recommend that this house is more suited to children a little older than my own(8+) as the staircase is steep and slippery and the toilet is downstairs,(not ideal for younger children at night.) The location of the property was on a main road with Lidl just a 2minute drive away and Carrefour just a 5minute drive. The beach,(which is beautiful and vast,)unlike the write-up,we found to be more like a 10 minute drive away,although it’s a very direct route. The property’s location is great and the amenities provided in the house were great too. We had a lovely time and are grateful for Madame Bouville!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We (2 families of 4 adults, 3 children and 1 baby) have spent two wonderful weeks in this charming and spacious house in Berck. The house is newly and nicely renovated, furnished with everyhing you need in the daily life. The owner was very welcoming and she and her son were immediatly there for us if there was the smallest problem. The kids loved the garden with its trampoline and we also had a nice time making barbecue (for which the garden is fully equipped.) Also the shopping facilities are nearby, the Berck market is 5 min. by foot. as well as bakery, grocery and butcher shop. Berck and its surroundings are very nice to visit, the beach is huge and ideal to fly the kite and have all kinds of fun, or you take a walk in the dunes, to visit some seals on their sandbank nearby. We would fully recommend a stay in Berck at this nice house!
