We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Reviewer Comments: The home was lovely apart from the back screen door sticking, the fences not being dog friendly & needing repair and the lack of internal doors. We were comfortable and relaxed and would stay there again.

Stayed Nov 4, 2023Hook Wine and Linger is located close to Portland's esplanade and is a short drive from the main street. It is unfortunately also located close to a main road so the noise of cars driving past is noticeable, particularly at night. We loved the firmer mattresses on the beds. While the property does everything it promises e.g. linen and a freezer. We felt the omission of basic items such as tea and coffee provisions, bin liners and a hairdryer, left this accommodation feeling underdone. We stayed here because it was one of the few pet friendly options available in Portland. It was nice that a dog blanket was provided but one of the fences in the backyard was quite dilapidated. It was ok for us however because the neighbour on that side did not have pets. Overall we would stay here again but with modified expectations.

Reviewer Comments: A holiday stay situated closet to the foreshore of Portland.The property was clean but in dire need of some maintenance and refreshing.Kitchen crockery and cutlery very shabby.No loo paper, dishwashing liquid or hand wash provided. We had to go and do a basic shop on arrival. Back garden excellent for dogs. Laundry area not usable. Drier not working.

Reviewer Comments: The property itself was good, however because the weather wasn't great during the Easter break we were indoors most of the time. Therefore we found it hard without wifi and a dishwasher.

There was only 3 toilet paper roll and one box of tissue for our staying in 5 nights.but the property was a nice place for a family with dog .
