Beautiful home situated in picture perfect serenity. This home is very secluded and outback is absolutely gorgeous, with a hot tub, fire pit and amazing views. . The home itself has 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms and a very large stocked kitchen. It’s the perfect getaway and close to Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park.

We had a great stay at this wonderful house for our quick trip to Luray Caverns. House is very clean, spacious and full of things to do for the kids. Hot tub and fire pit are a great bonus!

Overall this was a wonderful stay! Great beds and linens, great showers and water pressure, nice furniture and decor, well-stocked kitchen and overall and very very clean. The cons (specific to our family and trip): our main purpose was to visit Luray Caverns and Shenandoah; in the future I would pick something a bit more central. The 30 minute drive to Skyline became a bit of a haul. The main reason we picked this specific place was because we wanted to stargaze at night. Unfortunately, the telescope was broken. Also, the backyard and deck could be spruced up, they currently are not very welcoming. There were tons of bats flying around the backyard at night and admittedly we are city-folk so we weren’t used to this. We couldn’t enjoy the deck and yard like we had hoped so we up heading elsewhere for a night of stargazing and didn’t use the hot tub at all for these two reasons. In summary, great place overall, depending on what your purpose of visiting is.

We had a nice stay here. Pretty solid access to the National Park where we went hiking every day and generally took us about 15-20 minutes to get to the park entry. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and complimentary coffee was great. Used the gas grill one evening for dinner. House was spacious and nicely secluded. Small windy roads to get there. Hosts were responsive and polite. And we appreciated the lack of complex time-consuming chores at checkout that we've experienced elsewhere. As the hosts and other reviewers have noted, the Internet can be spotty. That's unfortunate if it happens when you want to watch TV in the evening (which relies on streaming). We ended up going out to a sports bar an hour away one night to watch a game when the Internet went down. I wouldn't come to do remote work because we had basically no mobile service with AT&T and when the Internet is out, you're out of luck.We didn't use the hot tub but checked it out and it was clean & ready. Washer & dryer worked great.

The property was very well taken care of. Very clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, air fryer, InstaPot, CrockPot, Blender, etc. There was dish soap and a sponge in the kitchen, which I greatly appreciated! We needed to bring our dog, and we wanted to be in close proximity to the Shenandoah Park entrance. You are definitely in a quiet secluded location.

The hosts have thought of EVERYTHING your family and furbaby could need. We were so delighted to find the listing was very accurate, and the views were breathtaking. Our 10 year old pup joined for his first vacation ever, and they had everything we could’ve need to make it an easy and relaxing vacation. The sound of birds chirping and turkeys gobbling were the only sounds we heard from the home. It was the perfect retreat for our family to get away and just enjoy nature!! We’ll definitely be back again!!

From the time I booked this home to after checkout the host was ON IT. When we got to the house we were very happy with all the amenities that the house came with from dishes all the way to some spices in the cabinet which came in very handy. Throughout the trip, my family and I kept saying how stocked the house was. After having completed a full day of hiking we came home to find our bed has a heated mattress cover. Thank you again to our host. Do not think twice about booking it! It is absolutely perfect for families

Loved our stay at this hideaway near Shenandoah NP. House was beautiful and very relaxing after a full day of exploring. Wish we could have taken advantage of the fire pit area but sadly it rained each night we were there. House is within 15 minutes to nearby restaurants which was great and not too far from the activities we did in Shenandoah. I would definitely choose this property again.
