Stayed Jul 25, 2025Check in was simple, kitchen had everything we needed besides something to clean the grill with, which maybe we just overlooked. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Main bedroom/bathroom was perfect for us. Sauna was a nice amenity! Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels.

Stayed Jul 29, 2024This was our family's 1st experience with a vacation rental vs a hotel and it was great! The house was clean, in a quiet neighborhood and accommodated my family of 4. We were in town to visit the Lost Island Waterpark in Waterloo. Communication with the host was wonderful and questions were answered quickly.

Stayed Jul 22, 2024Convenient location to Waterloo/Cedar Falls. Nice alternative to hotel. We visited family in nearby Cedar Falls, went to local parks, the Cedar Valley Arboretum and the Dubuque area. Host was always available when we had questions.

Stayed May 17, 2024This is our second stay at Nick's family getaway. The house has everything we need when we are visiting our family in Waterloo, Iowa. The kitchen is well stocked, the sauna is very nice and the entire house is spacious and comfortable. I would recommend Nick's family getaway for anyone exploring the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area.
