We had an incredible time discovering numerous shark teeth and conch shells, even getting a tarpon on the line and a couple baby sharks. The location of the house was perfect – close to a public access point so we didn't feel like bait being the only swimmers , yet it provided plenty of privacy. The presence of three roaming turtles on the property added to the charm. The only improvement I can suggest is adding a TV in each room for rainy days or downtime kids and video games you know . Overall, it was one of the best beach weeks we've ever had, and I'd happily rent this place for an entire summer!
We loved being ocean front with tons of windows and steps directly onto the sand. Ponte Vedra Beach is a spectacular beach and this house leveraged it perfectly.
A wonderful experience for our family. Gorgeous ocean views, privacy, steps to the beach for playing in the waves and searching for shark’s teeth. Our kids loved seeing the tortoises. The sand toys provided were a nice benefit. As a mom I enjoyed sunrise coffees and jogs on the beach.
We had a great stay. The house was easy to live in with everything we needed. You can't beat staying beach front and hearing the ocean in the background. We are already looking for dates to stay again next year. Also loved the turtles.
Incredible location - just south of Mickler's. Huge yard and amazing views of the ocean. Very quiet part of South Ponte Vedra that is still close to restaurants and shopping..
Beautiful property with a very large living area, great outdoor deck (morning sunrise views!) and private boardwalk to the beach. Bedrooms were very comfortable and all bathrooms nicely upgraded. Location is good - well off the road offering nice privacy. The kitchen was very nice but not all the stoves worked (griddle and grill top did not work at all). This was tough because there is no grill out back and we like to have some home cooked meals while hanging around the ocean views. Has 2 dishwashers but one didn't work and the other barely worked. Tried calling the property manager a few times and got no response - In fact, never really had any contact with a manager at all. A fully functioning kitchen would have improved my rating here.
The house/bungalow was perfect for our needs. No frills, easy, great location and beautiful view of the ocean
We had a fantastic time at this beach house! The location was perfect. There's nothing like waking up in the morning and seeing the ocean out the window. We loved how the house was situated with all the bedrooms at one side of the house and the kitchen, dining room and family room at the other end. We loved it! We will stay here again!!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The view and location were incredible. Everything was as described in vrbo. This house could be perfection with an outdoor grill and a pool, but I would still rent there again.
Property and elevated view of ocean were terrific. The house could use some tweaks and in particular the mattresses need to be upgraded for a property of this class-- very hard and uncomfortable. One couple in our group left after the first night due the mattresses. We would stay here again but only if these were upgraded in all rooms. On the plus front, the setting is excellent and the kitchen and baths have been renovated. A few things that would have improved our stay (aside from mattresses which is a huge issue)-- the water pressure needs to be improved (really really weak in the showers in particular), the ice maker is broken, there is no grill (a shame with that view), needs exterminator visit (silverfish in two bedrooms) and no hand vac on property. Further, we have rented a few homes in PV on the ocean and the standard is to provide soap, hair dryers, dish towel, sponges (and in many cases coffee, bottled water, wine, sunscreen, etc). There was nothing here at all-- need to bring everything with you except for towels. Also we arrived in the evening in December and it was completely pitch black when we pulled in-- not a single light on in the house or outdoors. Needed our cell phone lights to see anything at all and find our way to the door.
