Family friendly, walking distance to town, harbor, shops, restaurants, beaches

The space was perfect for 6 guests. Location was perfect for traveling into town. Easy to walk, bus stop nearby or short drive to shopping, restaurants and beaches. Very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay there again.

It was my first time on the island, and the house could not have been more perfect for our needs. Perfect location, very clean, and everything we needed. I would stay here again.

The house was a great place to hang out and allow us to roam all the in the Vineyard-the beaches, Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, Vineyard Haven, museum, restaurants, etc. It served its purpose! Convenient to walk or take bus. However, for the price, many things were broken-screen door, kitchen faucet leaked, bottom rack in dishwasher came off rails every time, kitchen had tons of ants (we bought traps ourselves), dryer worked very slowly, two upstairs bedrooms not air conditioned, could have used more pillows and hangers. We would rent this house again, but hope these issues will be addressed. Quiet, spacious, good home to accommodate large amount of guests.

We had a terrific time in Oak Bluffs. Very easy walk to Circuit Ave. Would definitely stay again.

The reviews on this property led me and my family to believe that we were staying in a safe and clean cottage. However, we were met with bullet holes in the scene and window along with dog and or cat urine on the sofa. The home smelled moldy and the sofa reeked of urine upon sitting on it.

Canary Cottage was well kept up. It is located in a quiet spot on a hill, a short walk into Oak Bluff past a bay. There is a small convenience store at the bottom of the hill. It’s walking distance from the ferry, maybe 15 minutes. Same for the bus station. We enjoyed our stay. We were three couples in our late 50’s/early 60’s.

We had a great trip to Canary Cottage with 8 guests. Plenty of room. Also good location - quiet neighborhood but walked downtown and to beach easily. It was not well stocked with small things like beach chairs and kitchen items but did not hinder our trip. Definitely would come back!

This house has plenty of space for 2 families and it's walking distance to town. We walked almost every night! We will definitely stay here again!

A short walk to OB's center but it still feels away from it all.

The home was nice and accommodated our family for our week long stay. Very short walk to the central location of Oak Bluffs (Circuit Ave) and a very short ride to the beach.

The Canary Cottage was clean and exceptionally location. However during our stay, we had a few minor concerns and although we reached out, they were not adequately addressed.

The location was perfect. It’s closed to amenities and was very quiet and gave us a lot of privacy. The house is spacious, which gave everyone privacy. We enjoyed having the grill to bar-b-q on.

Had a great time staying at Canary Cottage. There was a lot of space for a larger group and it was located within a short walk of downtown Oaks Bluff. The one downside was that there was a grill featured as an amenity but we unfortunately did not have access to it. Despite that I would absolutely stay again.
