Great place to relax and spend time at the beach! Easy walking distance to Barnstable harbor and village, and accessible to many local sites, activities, and shopping.

This Sunset Lane home was our favorite VRBO! Perfect for our family (2 young kids +grandparents). 1st-floor bed&bath with walk-in shower was ideal for grandparents. We loved the big fancy upstairs bathroom! Hosts thoughtfully provided baby gear incl. a pack-and-play. Home-brought blackout curtains were a lifesaver for us. The AC was excellent, the kitchen new and very well-equipped. Loved the many nearby dining options. Millway beach is fantastic, but check the tide charts. Beach gear was abundant. Outdoor shower & laundry room were great. Host communication was superb. This family-friendly home in an excellent location is a must-visit!

The property is about a 1-2 minute walk to the beach. The house is very well equipped and in excellent condition. It was very good for our multi-generational family. The little village is about a 15 minute walk away and has a coffee house/bakery, restaurant and small market.

A quiet neighborhood with a 5 minute stroll to the beach set the stage for a wonderful week. The house was as advertised and this was the best equipped kitchen in any summer rental we have had. We used to rent the same house for ages but then our family expanded and we needed an additional bedroom. Having rented several houses, none were noteworthy enough to return to till now. We have every intention of returning next year.

Well equipped (baby equipment, toys and all) , great location, walking distance to great restaurants. This was a perfect location for my family. Grandchildren age range is 8 months to 3 years so having everything close by was wonderful

This home is spectacular with plenty of room for our growing family! The location was perfect - a short walking distance to the beach for daytime trips (multiple times a day!) with the toddlers/babies ( one liked high tide, one liked low tide!!) and nighttime trips for the adults to enjoy the sunset and stargazing. Along with the beach, all you need is within walking distance - playground, restaurants, ice cream, quaint village shops and a whale watch! All of the amenities are a lovely addition to this beautiful home- the hosts have thought of everything. Having baby items, towels, linens, toys, beach chairs, umbrellas at our fingertips and not have to pack them was a saving grace! You can't beat morning tea and coffee on the porch to start each day and relaxing around the fire pit after being awed by God's wondrous sunsets to end the day. We created wonderful memories in this beautiful home on Sunset Lane and look forward to a return visit!

The description and photos of this property are spot on. We had a blast here with our 2 kids and their grandparents. Perfect family property, right next to the beach and right next to two seafood restaurants. This was a fantastic stay. And the central AC was sooo helpful when it got up to 90 degrees 2 days in a row. We loved our stay here and you will too.

I had an amazing time at this charming property. The owners were perfectly organized in the instructions and have created a really livable vacation house. We had everything at our fingertips. The Mattakeese down the street was great for dinner and we enjoyed spectacular sunsets every night. Barnstable Village is really cute and functional. We had coffee there every morning and did most of our shopping at the Barnstable Market, all walkable from the house. The house itself is perfect. Rooms are big and comfortable. The backyard is great, we loved the birds. Grill, fire pit and outdoor shower are all a pleasure and made for a great trip. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We had a wonderful week in Cape Cod and this house made everything easy and comfortable for our family—from newly walking 1 year old to grandparents. Location is a 3 min fun walk to a gentle, quiet harbor beach, as well as to a casual outdoor restaurant and fancier restaurant. ~10 min walk to small playground, 12-15min to more restaurants in town. And short drive to everything in Barnstable. The house itself is well laid out, newly renovated, and all the furnishings and decor are new, lovely and good quality. (Including very comfortable beds and nice bedding). Kitchen is good size and very well equipped with all the tools you’ll need—we cooked or grilled most of our meals. My 4-year old loved all the games and kids books, as well as beach toys, and we loved not having to pack all our baby gear. Backyard is also great for lounging, playing, grilling, and dining. Owner was responsive and kind. All in all, a fantastic rental and clear that the owners put a lot of thought and love into the house and the rental experience.
