The free WiFi and flatscreen TV in the living room will make for the ideal combination when everyone is settling down for the evening, so play a favorite movie and whip up a bowl of popcorn!
Sitting within walking distance of the white sand at Meeks Bay, a day of swimming, fishing, or kayaking won't be hard to find. If a morning hike is on the agenda, head over to Meeks Bay Trailhead (half-mile), Balancing Rock Nature Trail (seven miles), or Emerald Bay State Park (six miles)! When the colder months come around, head over to Homewood (five miles north) and make a day of shredding fresh powder.

Our second stay in Meeks Bay. This is a great place for families.
Really loved the space, it was nice and clean with all the required amenities for living, bathing, cooking, etc. It is located very conveniently to reach both North and South side of lake Tahoe. I will book it again if traveling in a larger group. One thing which can be improved to make the experience even better: The second (smaller) bathroom's shower is not up to the mark and the temperature and pressure varies at its own (may be when the other bathroom is also in use).
Lots of space and a 5 min walk to the beach- didn't have to worry about parking.
I have no clue how anyone could rate this as a nice place to stay. It is gross, smells, very run down. Internet was not working at all. Stove top does not work. Counter space and pantry space barely exist. We had to use the dining table to store our snacks and drinks. The basic stuff is not even covered in this house, barely any Beth towels, No dishwasher supplies or sponges, etc. The air conditioner did not work. Nails coming out of the deck, my daughter stubbed her toe on. Manager did not care. They charged extra per day for the hot tub and it was so green and gross they had to empty it, we did not get to use it at all. In fact the guy who can to fix it said it would burn our skin off is we used it as he has to put so many chemicals in it to fix it. After all this and 7 calls to vacasa, they offered one day credit when we were not able to use it at all during our 4 day stay. So my only recourse is to advise everyone to not rent this house. Not matter how stuck for a house you are in Tahoe, it is not worth staying here.
We enjoyed the proximity to Meeks bay and the ease of this property for the varied age groups of our family! The stove and bbq grill need to be replaced! A great family getaway!
The cabin is located really close the the Meeks Bay Beach (about a 5-7mins walk via private lake access) and Boat Rental companies (about 10 mins drive). It is also fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. One downside was that the cabin doesn’t have AC so it gets really hot in the summer even at night. They have 2 fans in 2 of the rooms, so I’d bring one for the other!
Very nice location with gorgeous lake views. The house was stocked with all the amenities except there was a shortage of wash cloths. Also, the hot tub was set to 104 degrees and there was no way to change the temperature down so it was a little too hot. Lastly, there was a large stain in the basement carpet and the screen door to the porch was broken before our arrival and the owners left no phone numbers to report the damage. Communication between the owners and renters could be improved.
Neighbors are close but the place has a decent view.
We had no idea that the house faces constructions site just 20 yards across the street. The guys are working there 7-4 all weekdays. We think that honestly we should have been warned in advance and given an option for discounted price. This wad not a quiet vacation we hoped for
