Stayed Jul 28, 2025Great and nicely secluded and safe place that we stayed in, had the whole area to ourselves. Our teen boys enjoyed having their own space downstairs. Ruthie was super prompt to respond to our queries and a delight to recommend. We enjoyed the extra toys of paddleboard and canoes that come with the stay. Brookshire Brothers is nearby in Coldspring for supplies. Highly recommend as a family getaway stay.

Stayed Sep 26, 2024The house was the perfect size for our family of 7. The kayaks and paddle boards were a huge plus. The water level in front of the dock was low but we made the best of it!

Stayed Aug 22, 2024Property was clean. Beds were comfortable. Dock was as big as it looks in the pictures. A few things I would look at fixing... the paddle boards do not have their fins. The description of the house states that there is a hot tub. We could not find the hot tub. However, did not bother to ask the owner where the hot tub was. Overall a great stay and close to our family.
