Family Friendly Home - Surrounded by Amish

Such a beautiful house! Came for a family getaway and could not ask for anywhere better to stay! Very clean and welcoming. Owner was home but he kept to himself, didnt even seem like he was there. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

The home was lovely, clean, comfortable and very inviting. The only suggestion would be TV in the bedroomWe would definitely choose this home again!!

Immaculate property in a beautiful, quiet setting. We loved the fire pit conversations and comfortability of everything. Amish buggies passed by all day - and the clean simplicity of the whole house was appreciated - PERFECT for a getaway weekend with friends!

Everything was great. Perfect location. Awesome property.

From the minute we walked in the door we could tell the property was going to be exceptional. It was modern, extremely clean and had every amenity we could have asked for. What was shown in the photos was exactly what we found. We thoroughly enjoyed both the front porch where we could sit and watch horses and buggies going by and the beautiful backyard where we could watch bunnies playing in the bushes. The charming neighborhood was so peaceful. We know that if we find our way back in the area again, we will not hesitate to book this lovely home.

The house is beautiful and one of the nicest that we have stayed in. Our family had a fabulous time and are looking forward to visiting again.

This is a wonderful place to stay probably one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in a while. It was very accommodating, especially for my 92-year-old mother plus our two teenage grandchildren. I would highly recommend this place for your family lots of room. The host was excellent and she communicated very well with us. You will not be disappointed, and you might even hear the hoof clapping on the street of an Amish buggy going by.

We enjoyed our stay. Only critique is that they had some of the thinnest toilet paper ive ever used outside of a gas station restroom.

Great weekend in Lancaster. The house is beautiful & felt just like home.

This was a clean, beautifully remodeled, roomy house on a quiet street within walking distance to the points of interest in town. The outdoor living spaces are well-done and private. From the front picture window we regularly saw Amish buggies going up and down the street. There was more than I anticipated being able to walk to in town, but driving among the surrounding farms there are plenty of opportunities to stop in for fresh produce or other products. We had a lovely visit.

Very clean and close to everything. The house is updated and comfortably furnished. Kathryn is easy to communicate with.

The property and location were very nice. It was too hot to use the lovely back yard and the fire pit. There were only three teaspoons and we would have appreciated a few more bath towels. We didn’t use the dishwasher because it smelled very bad. We also left a note that one of the chairs was in bad repair and we had to be very careful with it.

Lovely home. Horses and buggies travel the street in front of the house. Quiet neighborhood. Close proximity to town.

Very clean, very quiet.

One thing I wish I knew was that all the bedrooms and one bathroom is on one side of the house and the other bathroom was at the other end of the house. We did have a few issues while there but the property manager was very quick to respond. I feel there are a few fixable things that, if implemented, I’d stay again. Biggest one for us was there are no blinds and only thin white curtains on the windows. The sun rose at 5 and we didn’t want to rise with it while on vacation, but alas we did. I really hope a change will be implemented there. Lovely area to stay. The yard was lush and green. Amish buggies, bikes, roller skaters, walkers, we saw them all every day going past the home. Kitchen and baths are newly renovated and very pretty.

What a beautiful home and neighborhood. House was stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was a perfect family getaway.

This home offered me a lovely stay. The house was immaculate and well-stocked. The bed in which I slept was very comfortable, as was the living room furniture, especially the recliner! The backyard was huge and had trees surrounding it on two sides. Perfect for kids. There is also a fire pit area off the patio. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this house. The only problem I incurred was that I couldn't get the ice maker to work. But, I'm not good with these kind of devices, so it definitely could've been me. This is a great house in a great location.
