Great place for family to gather for the holiday weekend. We used the space for primarily housing (the festivities were hosted by our daughter who lives nearby) but a few of the adult children did hang out together late evenings after their children were put to bed. Great communication by the host, would highly recommend for family groups to consider. The singular down side - no first floor bathroom (1-2nd fl, 1-finished basement) but otherwise everything was great.
Great location, great house. It was myself, my daughter and a friend, along with another mom and daughter. The 3 bedrooms and basement were perfect for a group. We planned a trip to the zoo as well as Kings Island. The property was centrally located to allow for both easily. Host communicated well and was friendly. Will definitely stay again when visiting the Cincinnati area.
Loved the area. Owner was responsive and helpful. House was very clean and stocked. Did not care for the shabby-chic motif as it was a little more one than the other and the noise of an old house made it difficult to sleep. The last part will be personal prefernce of course. Most important - owner was awesome and house was clean and suited 95% of our needs.
This lovely home has character! The integrity of its history has been maintained but it has all the modern conveniences needed. The firepit & s’mores kit was a huge hit with the kids. The breakfast nook made for some sweet family meals. The basement bedroom/bathroom offered privacy while still allowing everyone to enjoy family time. The neighborhood was safe & we were able to walk to dinner one night. A beautiful mall is also within reasonable walking distance. I didn’t make it to Trader Joe’s - maybe next time!
Clean, only thing our ladies said was need to provide 2 ply TP, 1 ply not good. Would stay again!
Loved the quaint feel of this southern colonial home! Liz went above and beyond to make our stay as wonderful as possible!
We really enjoyed renting this house. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us. The upstairs does get warm in the summer but the basement was very cool. The bed in the basement was quite comfortable for being a pull out couch. We will definitely consider booking here again in the future!
Charming inside and out Elizabeth is amazing Loved it Would stay again
This is our second time staying at this property. We love it ! Perfect for families. The owner is great to work with as well! We will certainly repeat.
We very much enjoyed the stay at this property ! It was extremely clean , roomy, and charming. The three bedrooms plus the very comfortable king sized pullout couch in the basement made this the perfect stay for our family. The owner is highly responsive and great to work with. We already booked our next stay!
The property is very nice and quiet. To acknowledge other reviews and the listing, be prepared there is only 1 bathroom on the floor with bedrooms. The other bathroom is in the basement. The linens are nice and there is a lot of space. I would recommend bringing your own toilet paper, as single ply is provided
Loved the charm of this home. Perfect for our family and toddler. Everything you need to relax. Darling holiday decorations. Very clean.
Perfect for return to Cincinnati to gather with family during the holidays. Cozy, warm and comfortable during storm Elliot. Liz was informative and responsive. Online listing was accurate. Enjoyed the respite
Property was wonderful! Great location and plenty of room. It had everything we needed! Would definitely stay again!!
Lovely place that met our needs as we celebrated Thanksgiving with family in Ohio.
The location was great and the hosts were very responsive to our inquiries and requests but the experience was disappointing. There's no bathroom on the main level of the house which is extremely unusual. Nothing was said about that in the description and I think most people would expect a bathroom on the main level. Also the kitchen was sparsely furnished. There were only 3 of us but we quickly ran out of cups, spoons. I would have appreciated some more welcoming touches such as afghans in the living room; ottomans. There were only 2 extra blankets in the house for a 3 bedroom house. There was a bbq in the backyard but no propane and none in the garage or basement. It felt utilitarian, not welcoming and wanting your experience to be the best it could be.
Great location. Nice host. Had a slight issue when we got there, but I got a response from her almost immediately. Perfect house for my family. On vacation with my wife, two small children, and my parents. My parents slept in the basement which is like a small apartment with it's own bathroom. My wife and kids slept upstairs. We were all comfortable and had a bit of privacy with the basement. No complaints. Would love to stay there again.
The property worked very well for the 5 people who stayed there. We all thoroughly enjoyed the location since we are all native cincinnatians raised in deer Park but now live in Dallas and San Diego. The home provided all of our needs for the 4 days we were there. The only negative was no bathroom on first floor.and for 3 eighty year old men , that could sometime be a problem., but otherwise everything was just great .
My kiddos and I loved this charming house. We had everything we needed and a great location! Close to the zoo and kings island. We would definitely come back.
The house was big, up to date, clean and perfectly located for our purpose. It was exaclty like promoted on the website, great value for money. The hostess was very helpfull and quick on respons. Will be returning again for sure.
Easy access to area's attractions and great restaurants!!! Thx
Enjoyed a restful reunion with great friends! Very roomy for gatherings around the dining table or family room fireplace. Also spacious firepit area on back patio as well as plenty of room to sit and catch up together on the front porch rockers. Comfortable beds in upstairs rooms and a very comfortable king size sofa bed in spacious basement. Good variety of restaurants in the area.
Beautiful home in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. Would have liked to been able to spend more time there, but we had a busy visit.
This house was perfect for our visit to Cincinnati. It is a charming home in a great neighborhood. The outside area's provide a peaceful view of nature and we enjoyed the front porch rocker's. Liz is a fantastic host who is easily reachable. We couldn't get the kurig to brew coffee and she brought us another within 15 minutes of my outreach - simply fantastic! In addition we were surprised to have 12 farm fresh eggs waiting for us in the refrigerator. We could easily get to any location in the city within 15 minutes, and almost any shopping or needs you may have are within 5 minutes of this home.
