Stayed Nov 25, 2025Old architecture with alot of character for sure.... the major draw for us was the outdoor space for our family get together.... we loved it and it fit all of us perfectly (and having a TV outside for the football games was fantastic!) Rooms were clean and supplies were very generous which was much appreciated ! I would recommend for any family that wants to be near downtown or Balboa park for an easy walk.

Stayed Apr 21, 2025We had a great time staying here. The house is very charming and they preserved as much as they could to keep it looking and feeling historic while keeping the house technologically connected (smart tvs, wifi, etc.) We had our small dog with us and LOVED how accessible the park was and how walkable the neighborhood is. The house is centrally located and we were able to get any where we wanted, quickly, without being right next to a freeway or busy streets. We ate locally every day and supported the neighborhood market on the corner multiple times. The property owner was super friendly and accessible when we had questions. It was only four of us but this house could easily accommodate a bigger group.

Stayed Apr 8, 2025We had a lovely stay at this house near the park. The house was well equipped with a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of amenities throughout the home. We enjoyed the fireplace in the backyard. It is a older home so there were some things we weren't used to, such as loud pipes and a older oven that made the house a little smokey. But the charm of the house made up for these minor inconveniences.
