Family-Friendly 3BR w/ Private Pool & BBQ in SW Austin

Had to ask for check in and check out instructions because they were not delivered. Code that was sent also didnt work so had to call the host to figure it out. Small things but weren’t major issues. Other than these small inconveniences, it was overall a decent spot and had good amenities for a big group. Hence, 4 stars

The place was good overall, however there were a few issues. There was no communication about the placement of keys for the main bathroom and pool storage. The lights in the living room space strobe when you use the microwave, so you had to dim the lights quite far, while using the microwave.The lights in the seating area outside don't work. This wasn't communicated and we didn't find out till two days after inquiring. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The pool was fantastic for cooling down.

Great property in a really nice neighborhood. Inside was newly refurbished and well appointed, we enjoyed the pool and BBQ outdoor area.

We loved our stay…such a family friendly home! Super comfortable inside and well stocked with toys and games. Backyard pool and living space is excellent thank you!

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a vacation rental. The property was so dirty and poorly maintained that we couldn’t stay even one night. The pool was a cloudy green mess with visible algae and a harsh chemical odor that made it completely unsafe. The grill was thick with old grease and char. Furniture was filthy, dead plants were everywhere, and there were spider webs hanging from light fixtures inside.There was moldy junk in outdoor storage bins, dust-covered vents and switches, and trash in plain sight. It looked like this place hadn’t been cleaned or maintained in weeks, possibly months. We reported everything immediately and were told the issue would be escalated to the VRBO Health and Safety team. No one ever followed up. And here’s the kicker, VRBO confirmed to me directly that another family had already complained about the same exact issues at this same property. They rented it again anyway. Let that sink in.We were forced to scramble for three hotel rooms at our own expense. The host refused a refund. VRBO has so far refused to make it right. Absolute disaster from start to finish.Avoid this property at all costs. And be very cautious with any property managed by this host.

The house was clean, most of the amenities were functional. Was never given an adequate answer on why the pool light did not work or where the switch was. Kitchen sink nozzle had a major leak and when we attempted to use one of the cutting boards it looked less than sanitary.

Great house! My family enjoyed the pool and how spacious the house was. Close to lots of fun things to do in Dripping Springs. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Easy to get in and out. I would definitely stay here again.

The property has some great qualities. Nice pool, neighborhood seems nice, inside remodel is good, kitchen is well stocked and a good amount of space in the home. Bathroom amenities also appreciated. Sitting out by the pool was lovely. Items that could be better-not enough towels(not one pool towel for the pool!), house could have been cleaner, the outside could use some TLC. A nice pool, but wasn’t clean after lawn service came through. Pool house is a fright.
