Family & dog friendly for 6 people - walking distance to 4 lakes!

Beautiful views from the deck. Enjoyed the quiet and watching the deer walk through the yard. Excellent communication with the hosts, the property has all the amenities you need for an enjoyable stay.

Dave and Michelle were the perfect hosts during our stay - making sure we were comfortable while giving us plenty of space. The unit is private, quiet, clean, and modern. Location is ideal for scenic lakes and view points. A must for EV drivers with a powerful Level 2 charger on site!

The hostess Dave and Michelle are very accommodating easy to deal with . The place is great , homey and has a nice view .

We absolutely loved this property. The porch across the whole front looks towards the ocean and has everything you need. Table, hammock, propane fire pit, bbq and a view also to the fun lawn games below. Three queen-sized beds (one doesn’t have a window) are all comfortable with high quality bedding. 2.5 bathrooms are all equipped with everything imaginable - hair gel, men’s and women’s deodorant!, makeup wipes, and on and on. It was great to have the washer and dryer on site. Loved the expansive wall of windows. Everything is new and clean. Kitchen was awesome - not that different than home. Huge island. Well equipped with the extras like spices, oil, ziplocs, bag of ice, and even a great knife set. We ate every meal in and there was nothing we needed that wasn’t there. We swam in gorgeous nearby lakes - using beach towels that were provided. Great choice of media - Netflix, Prime and others. Lots of indoor games also. And the internet speed was 500 Mg. Yes 500. Not 50. 500 in the middle of nowhere! Hosts were super pleasant and responsive. They live above and it’s fine - don’t worry about that. Can’t say enough nice things about them. Would we stay there again? In a heartbeat.

A very relaxing yet exciting trip. Stay was extremely comfortable, the facility was amazing. Its a luxurious clean and comfortable 3 bed room facility with breath taking views, just lying in the hammock on the deck and onlooking the ocean was relaxing enough. Michelle and Dave are the perfect hosts, they had taken take care of the minutest details to ensure that our stay was stress free. To top it all the host has wonderful recommendation on everything to do from sights to food to kayaking to hiking, you name it, the host will help you through...... would love to go back and stay with them again at the first available opportunity...

This is a beautiful self-contained suite with full access to the backyard. It is excellent value for three bedrooms.

My family of four recently stayed two nights in this lovely 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom suite. We loved how spacious and bright the suite was and the large covered deck with deck chairs and hammock was a lovely place to relax. The hosts kindly greeted us and showed us the suite and yard where there are outdoor games that guests can enjoy. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We also really liked that the kitchen has everything so we could cook and barbeque at home. We would recommend this suite.

The hosts (Michelle and Dave) were very responsive to all my questions prior to the trip. They were there during check in and gave us a tour of the place. The place was very spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything you could ask for. I love the outdoor patio with lots of seating and great view. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would recommend this place to all friends and family.

Dave and Michelle are so friendly. The property is beautifully maintained. Such a large space with great amenities. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Nice to have a pet friendly space and charlie and louie are great!

This place is fantastic, comfy and cosy, it has everything you need for a great getaway. Dave and Michelle are great hosts, friendly and welcoming, and I recommend trying Michelle’s food, the Shrimp Pad Thai was outstanding! Hopefully we will be back so we can also try Dave’s baking next time!

Great place to stay in a great area

Home was wonderful. Dave was a great host and we loved his dogs. Very bright and clean home.

Dave & Michelle's place is awesome. This place is stunning, as are the ocean views from the deck. It is spacious and comfortable and has everything anyone could want. We spent four nights here and could have stayed more. There are so many lakes in the area, and it is so beautiful in Garden Bay. Dave makes a great cinnamon bun and Michelle has some of the best Asian food we have eaten. You must try these. Communication was great and we can't wait to return.

We had an amazing stay in the suite! It was beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals, which was a huge plus. The view from the suite was absolutely stunning — a perfect way to start and end each day.One evening, we decided to try the host’s catering company, TL’s Metal Catering, and the food was incredible. So convenient and delicious!We also spent time at the nearby lakes, which were easy to access and surprisingly warm — perfect for a relaxing day out.Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped getaway!

Awesome. Simply awesome. It’s a great area and Dave & Michelle were marvellous. And Michelle is a helluva chef if you’re lucky enough to get a happy hour treat from her! So much to do and the accommodation is comfortable, clean and perfect for a getaway on the Sunny Coast.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dave’s place. He is a very attentive, helpful and friendly. This home is located on a peaceful and beautiful scenery area. The house is clean , beds are comfortable, and the place is decorated nicely. Views from the patio is so beautiful that we can spend a relaxing afternoon tea there. This vacation home is highly recommended to stay. Activities points are close by. So convenient. THANKS Dave for being the best host we have ever met!

David and Michelle were great hosts! Very friendly and their home was very spacious. The deck and the view were stunning. It's in great location for summer time swimming!

We loved our stay from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with warmth and friendliness as we walked through the unit. The space is very well appointed, very clean and beautifully decorated. We had everything we could possibly need at our disposal. The views along with the sounds of loons and crickets were so relaxing Even a family of deer in the yard to enjoy. Comfortable beds, sofas and patio furniture along with the hamac made this stay fabulous!

This home is well appointed for larger groups. We really enjoyed our stay here. Michelle and Dave are friendly and accommodating. The area is easy walking distance to Hotel lake - good swimming and SUPing. There are SO many lakes near and tons of trails for walking and biking. We’d stay again in a moment!

When we arrived at the property we were greeted by one the owners who was super friendly, and it gave us all the wow factor with the views of the ocean and peacefulness. The problems we had with the property was the cleanliness of it. There was dog feces in the driveway throughout our stay as well as in the yard. The yard was not maintained and unkept looking, in which we never used it. The inside of the property was dirty according to our standards in which we spent the first hours cleaning. There was hair in the fridge, dirty floors including old nail clippings, garbage and recycling within the property which smelled. We washed all the dishes and anything we were going to use throughout the stay, including the fridge.There is no A/C in this property just some fans for each room which was pretty hot with the warm weather they were experiencing. The fan in our room was filthy so we didn't use it. As well the room we were in did not have a window, allowing for fresh air as well made us wonder is this was up to building standards for fire egress. The deck was great for sitting outside and the great area, kitchen and living room was great for sitting and chatting. Overall it was a nice property just needs a little cleaning and maintenance TLC. Would like to see a refund for the cleaning that we all had to do when we arrived.

We had a great stay! Can't wait to be here again. Hosts are accomodating, kind, and helpful. Very comfortable living space. Beautiful view of inlet. Very close to lakes (walked to one first day). The hosts also do chinese food. We didn't get a chance to try it, but will for sure next time! They also make VERY delicious dessert...highly recommend! Full service situation, you'll never have to leave.
