Welcome to Turtle Haven: House Rules & Expectations
To ensure Turtle Haven remains a clean and comfortable retreat for everyone, we ask that all guests adhere to the following standards. Booking this home signifies your agreement to these terms.

1. No Smoking or Vaping
Turtle Haven is a 100% smoke-free and vape-free property (including the screened porch, yard, and driveway). Evidence of smoking will result in a $500 remediation fee.

2. Pet Policy & `Poop` Protection
We love dogs, but we love a clean yard more!

Approval: All dogs must be pre-approved. Bringing an unauthorized dog results in a $150 fee per pet.

Damage: Owners are 100% responsible for any damage to furniture, flooring, or screens.

The `Poop` Rule: You must pick up after your pet. Failure to clear the yard of pet waste before departure will result in a $50 clean-up fee.

3. Sand & The Outdoor Shower
To protect our floors and keep the house `Turtle Clean,` please use the enclosed outdoor shower to rinse all sand and salt from bodies and feet before entering the home. No sand inside, please!

4. Quiet Hours (9 PM – 9 AM)
We value our neighbors. Please keep noise to a minimum during these hours, especially while enjoying the screened porch or the backyard.

5. Kitchen & Cookware Care
We provide quality non-stick cookware. To keep it in top shape:

No Metal: Use only the provided wood or silicone tools. No metal spatulas, forks, or knives in the pans.

Counters: Always use a cutting board; do not cut directly on the countertops.

6. ️ Trash & Tuesday Service
Please place all household trash in the outdoor bin.

Tuesday Night: If your stay includes a Tuesday, please roll the trash bin to the curb on Tuesday evening for Wednesday morning pickup.

7. ️ Beach Gear
Beach chairs are provided for your enjoyment! Please take care of them and let us know immediately if any item is damaged so we can replace it for the next guest.

8. ✨ Authentic Stay Disclaimer
Turtle Haven is a clean and well-maintained vintage home. We take great pride in our cleanliness; however, the home features original finishes and older appliances. By booking, you acknowledge that no refunds will be issued for `cosmetic dating` or the vintage nature of the property.

9. Check-Out is 10:00 AM
Our cleaning crew arrives exactly at 10:00 AM. Unauthorized late check-outs will incur a $100 per hour fee. Please ensure all dishes are started in the dishwasher and wet towels are placed in the bathtub before you head out!
