We had an incredible month-long stay in this beachfront home. The breathtaking ocean views and stunning sunsets from our private property made every day feel like a dream. The home was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a long stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed while still offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. A special shoutout goes to Shally’s Seashell’s (Antonio, Ally, & Ally’s Daughter) which was simply the best and made our stay even more memorable. We started running low on supplies a couple times and they made it so effortless to get deliveries to your door! Thanks again! We highly recommend this property and would happily return for another extended stay!

Absolutely beautiful location immediately on beach yet secluded from others. Delightful home for family get together with children and grandchildren.

Access to beach was great. Nice to have a pool. Very nice help with luggage during check-in and check-out. On the downside, there were so many broken things that were not or could not be addressed while we were there even after many messages with the host - missing high chair, bath that does not plug, broken outdoor shower, broken ring toss (fixed while we were there), broken glass table with extremely sharp broken corner, broken faucet in upstairs bathroom, broken handle on pantry door, issues accessing Island Club, issues with front door lock, issues with 6-seater golf cart, nearly inaccessible golf cart ramp, having to wash and dry all towels in addition to the listed check out “tasks”, poor communication on check-out (told they would pick up at 9:30 as they had other visitors to get to the ferry, so we agreed, but they arrived at 8:30). Not as clean nor well-maintained as appeared in the listing.

House was great and clean. Staff were very helpful with the luggage and groceries. We loved the area.

Shallys Seashells were excellent hosts. They took care of everything we needed before we arrived and any little tiny issues that came up while we were there somebody was right there to take care of it for us. We have stayed a lot of places, but they definitely were the best host we have ever had! The house was gorgeous and Everything that the description stated about it was true. We will definitely be going back to North Captiva and rent a house managed by Shally’s seashells again! Island Girl Ferry service was also outstanding.

The property management team, Shalley's Seashells, was awesome. Ally was great every time I spoke with hre regarding preplanning, but best of all was Emily! She greeted us, helped bring our groceries upstairs, and had one of the brightest smiles I've ever seen. This team was extremely responsive, which is critical on a barrier island connected to the mainland only by ferry. The grocery service executed perfectly and when we had a couple of problems with the water and the TV access, they were resolved immediately. I've been going to North Captiva since 1998 and have NEVER had a team that was as responsive and great to work with as that of Shalley's Seashells!

The trip was magical! Lots of stuff for the kids to do. Spent lots of our time fishing and shell hunting. The shells are endless.

The house was amazing. It was in the perfect location, and the staff were very informative, helpful, and kind!Overall one of the best places we’ve stayed on vacation!

What a fantastic stay we had! The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The pool table and darts were nice for something to do in the evenings. We were able to watch the sunset right from the balcony which was perfect! The house is perfectly situated with only needing to walk across the “street” to be at the beach. The hosts were very responsive to any and all communication. Definitely recommend!

Our stay was wonderful. Location was perfect and the house certaily met all our needs. There were a few issues due to a recent renovations and possibly some over active prior guests that needed to be repaired, but Ally could not have been more accomodating and quick to respond. We will cretainly look to return next season.

Our stay started off very easy due to the communication from the property management group. We ordered our groceries ahead which was such a great idea as they were waiting for us for an easy lunch after a day of travel. We did not have too many issues, but everything was met with prompt service and communication. The house and location was perfect for our families. Location at the beach was a prime spot for viewing sunsets and the kids lived the pool every day. Captiva has our hearts and it was such a wonderful vacation.

The house is exactly as described- plenty of space for our large extended family. What we did not expect is that we were on the best beach on the island! The fishing and shelling were incredible and the sandbar at the point made it even better. We had a few minor issues with the internet and grocery orders, but management was prompt with service. This was our first time on the island and by the end of the week, we were getting very comfortable with island life!

Location, Location! This home is in an unbeatable location, situated directly across from Captiva Sunset Beach with breathtaking beachfront views from all three levels. Each evening, the top deck becomes the perfect spot to watch specular sunsets. Captiva Sunset Beach stands out as the best beach on the island, featuring a wide sandbar and prime fishing spots. The house is spacious, well maintained, and provides a relaxing escape. The private pool adds to the experience, offering a refreshing retreat from the beach. Additionally, property manager was responsive, and ordering groceries was an easy process.

Absolutely enjoyed the week at Captiva Beach Sunset. We enjoyed a fantastic stay at this beautiful beachside home, managed by a team we’ve trusted for years. The home was spotless upon arrival and stocked with thoughtful amenities that made our vacation completely stress-free. Any questions or concerns (very limited) were addressed quickly and resolved. The location is unbeatable — right across the street from the beach, making it easy to stroll down for morning shelling, surf fishing, or just lounging by the water. When we weren't at the beach, we loved relaxing by the private pool, which was a perfect for both the kids and adults. The views from the living area are fabulous and especially breathtaking from the top floor balcony. This property offered everything we hoped for and more.

What a great place and great hosts! First time for our group on North Captiva and it did not disappoint. Tons of wildlife, beautiful property, great fishing and great people. Will be back again!

We booked this house in March and were not disappointed. The location is adjacent to the beach and the house had tons of room for our group of 9. An on sight pool was very nice since the Gulf of Mexico was still quite chilly. Shally's Seashells was very responsive to any request that we had. Would book again.

Enough room for our entire family of 8 plus significant others. Location is amazing right on the beach. Tiny pool - nice for cooling off. House was clean, basically brand new from recent renovation. Thanks! Would stay again.

The house is large with a nice layout and comfortably housed our family of 8 adults. It is ideally located directly on a wonderful beach. The owners are responsive, replacing a broken pool heater while we were there. The island has some scars from the recent hurricanes but is recovering well. This is a great spot for a private beachfront getaway.
