The property is beautiful. Furniture is comfortable (beds, sofa, and chairs). Everything was clean when we checked in. The patio/deck was beautiful. We were able to sit out back and enjoy the evening although it was chilly because of the heating lamp. It was a nice weekend gateway for the ladies - we are already planning the next one! I highly recommend staying here.
Our reservation was set months in advance for an event we had near by. Upon arriving, the wifi did not work, the bedroom's electronic locks would lock you out of the room and the batterys were dead on them. The fire alarm would constantly beep.. But that isnt the bad part... Shortly into our trip, we found a used condom on the floor in one of the rooms that my 2 year old niece was close to. This was disgusting and unacceptable . Along with that we found popcorn kernels all over the living room floor. I contacted the host and she sent a cleaning crew to remove the used condom and clean the left food... Our nights plans were ruined since we needed to wait for the cleaning crew. We rented the house for 3 nights. On our third night, we got home from our event late with my niece sleeping and open the house to find the alarm going off... It continued to go off for roughly 20 minutes, and the front / back doors that had remote operated locks, locked us in the house. On my 5th call attempt to reach the host she finally picked up. She told us that we had stayed past our reservation (that was not the case ) and that the cops had been called on us. At this point the neighbors were up from the alarm going off. I told her she was incorrect and that our reservation was until the following day, and she admitted she was wrong. She said she recently had surgery and was on many different drugs. This was unacceptable. She apologized, turned off the alarm and first thing in the morning we ran out of there. We stay in Maryland several times a year and I will NEVER return here. Save your money, save your sanity, go somewhere else.
