Stayed Jun 8, 2026The Pocket was perfect for our large family. It was a perfect location, a block to Ocean Ave and close to the beach. We could walk to everything. The kids loved the Golf Simulator. Our host, Jane, was fantastic. Great place!

Stayed Jun 1, 2026Our family had a great experience at the property. The location was amazing and the property itself was clean and well appointed. We were celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday with family and everyone had plenty of space and privacy with a number of beautiful indoor and outdoor gathering spaces as well. The property’s management team had great communication which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for those visiting Carmel by the Sea.

Stayed May 27, 2026It's very well located in downtown Carmel, with most things within a 5-10 min range. Check in, parking, and all communication in general with the host was easy. The check out process is also a breath of fresh air as too many VRBOs make you do the cleaning, take the trash out, etc.

Stayed Jul 24, 2025We really enjoy the stay. The location is perfect. It is close to everything so once we are here, we don’t have to drive to go to dinner or to the beach. The house has everything. And the game room is perfect for adults and kids alike.

Stayed Jul 17, 2025Amazing property. It was gorgeous exactly as pictured. Perfect place for a family gathering. We had 20 people over for meals and it was very spacious. The basement game room was perfect to keep people entertained. And the Ocean View deck provided space for everyone to relax.

Stayed Jun 6, 2025A beautiful place for making memories at Carmel-by-the sea. The comfortable space, decor and amenities were excellent. Everything around you, the restaurants, shops, the beach is walkable and very close in proximity. I would love to stay there again!

Stayed Oct 17, 2024We had 8 to 10 of us for five days and everyone was comfortable. We enjoyed the location walking to restaurants a quick drive to the golf course and excellent staff and help from Jane.

Stayed Sep 19, 2024We took both units for 8 family members and our stay was incredibly comfortable. Great kitchens and sitting area, very well stocked. Quite luxurious. The units had lovely views and deck with fireplaces for evening conversation. Absolutely fantastic stay!! The Pocket Restaurant is terrific as well.
