Fairlawn on the Blanco I River access, minutes to Wimberley

This was the perfect property for our Family Thanksgiving. Very enjoyable.

Clean rooms, easy check in, good location

Staying at this rental felt less like a typical vacation rental and more like staying with a friend. everything was spotless and cozy - the space felt welcoming and cared for.The location is unbeatable. Although very close to RR12, the house sits right on the beautiful river, with peaceful views and yet you're just a 5-minute walk to all the charm of downtown Wimberley. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had a lovely stay! Four day anniversary trip with a planned shopping day in Wimberly. Unfortunately Wimberly was a mad house on the weekend, but fortunately we had a beautiful and peaceful place to spend our time. The deck and firepit area gave us hours of peaceful, quiet time reading, talking, watching wildlife, walking - it was wonderful. We did get to shop in Wimberly on our way out Monday - it was much less crowded and very enjoyable.The house was well equipped, comfortable beds, nice linens - overall wonderful!My only negatives - and they are slight compared to the positives - more road noise than anticipated and the dishwasher was full when we arrived so cleaning crew might want to be aware of that.I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Nice house and porch to relax after exploring the Hill Country. Close to Wimberley. There is some road noise.

This was a perfect getaway for our group of five women friends. Deer grazed every night in the yard, plenty of space in the well-appointed kitchen to fix a meal or a happy hour, comfy beds. We'd love to come back in warm weather and enjoy the river.

We enjoyed our stay very much! House was large and very homey. They view was beautiful and the back porch was amazing.

Great porch and yard for sitting by the river and relaxing with friends. It was a bit closer to the road than we expected, but it wasn't overly busy and the house was large, comfortable and well stocked.

If coming at night there should be some sort of flashy reflection lights in drive way Also you need to label your light switches or put instructions in your booklet Also tons of water roaches.

The house was spacious and had a great back porch where we enjoyed relaxing in the evening. Great place to stay.

We weren't supposed to get rain until Saturday, but we pretty much got bad weather here the entire trip, because of the Hurricane in South Texas. The house itself was good. The layout was easy and the overflow fridge in the laundry room was great!! The only minor issues with the property itself were scratches on some of the walls and the dryer didn't work. In my 50's I am a stickler for the rules, so when I saw these scratches, I immediately reached out to the management company with pics to let them know. Didn't want to get charged for previous guests. Dryer wasn't a major issue as we just hung dry everything, but felt bad for the cleaning crew that would show up after check-out, so I did notify the management company again in hopes they could make a contingency plan. The pictures of the river did NOT do it justice. We've stayed on the Blanco before and the entry point to the river here didn't seem very friendly, but it was easy access and the water was way clearer than we could have imagined. Since we got rained on a lot, the river was our go to. Overall the property was exactly what we needed. The group had fun and the management company was responsive. OH, one last thing... This thing was in the perfect location to downtown Wimberley. Walking distance for sure, but a 60 second drive. I highly recommend Ranch Brand Winery and Hildees. Just delightful.

Had a great time in Whimberly Wish we had more water (Mother Nature) Deers made up for it ❤️ Only thing is that the room with the trundle was hot maybe some curtains would help. Overall had a great stay

This house was very beautiful and in a perfect location. We could not have asked for a better house to do our annual cousins trip.
