FADE AWAY -New 5 Bedroom House Only Steps From The Ocean With a Private Pool

Bad: Pool was always green & cloudy. Linens were not available when we arrived. Had to buy blankets. Towels in main upstairs bathroom were used and the sheets were dirty & sandy. The floors through out, were dusty & sandy. Furniture had stains. There were bugs that we killed while there. Good: location was great. Felt like we were in the middle of everything!!! Host was always available and helped as well as she could. She recommended golf carts. Best decision ever!!! We love Surfside. What a great community.

Great home for a family vacation. Pool was a hit with the kids. Easy access to the beach. Exactly as advertised.

The house was perfect for our young extended family! House was clean, a very short walk to the beach, and the kids loved the pool! Every room having it’s own bathroom is a selling point!

The house is in a good location and the layout is nice. However, it did not meet our expectations. There are no amenities, not even a starter roll of paper towels. Cleanliness was not up to our standards, which was disappointing. The owner did offer to have the cleaning crew return, but that would not have been ideal, with the crew aware that we were unhappy. There were other issues that were relayed privately to the owner. Also, while the house is listed as a beach house with a pool, there were no amenities provided, no beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, grill, or even pool towels. For a vacation rental centered around the beach and pool, we expected at least some basics. With a few improvements and a little TLC, focusing on cleanliness, this property has the potential to provide a much better experience for future guests. Perhaps the listing could be updated to include NO AMENITIES. The lack of amenities may not be an issue for guests who drive however our family flies.

Both the house and the host were great. Great location and great pool. Sherry was an outstanding host and quickly responded to all our questions and requests. We have stayed at multiple properties in Surfside, Myrtle, and North Myrtle Beach and this was by far the best. We will definitely try to stay here again!

Beautiful home in an ideal area! Clean, beautifully decorated. Owner was great with communication. Would recommend this home to any large family wanting to make precious memories together.

Property was in a great central location to golf courses as well as food and entertainment. House was clean and spacious enough for our group. Would recommend staying here again.

We stayed this weekend with 10 women just celebrating friendship and birthdays… this house was perfect for us!!! Tons of room and every bedroom has its own bathroom.. this was so great!The pool area is spacious and accommodated all of us.. it’s a short 5-10 min walk to the little bars/ shops up the street. Access to the beach is literally across the street.We are already talking about booking for next year.

This house was perfect! 2 families with kids ages 3-18 stayed here and everything was wonderful. The location is quiet - great for coffee on the porch & leisurely walks. Beach access is at the end of the road, and you are less than 1 mile to the pier. Beach was nice and very little crowd. The house was clean and spacious! We loved it!!!

Incredible property seconds away from the beach, restaurants, and golf. Our group had nothing but positive things to say about Fade Away!

Our family had a fantastic time. We were a family of 12 staying at the house. There was more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a spacious living room area and the kitchen. This house is fully equipped with everything you need. It’s just steps to the beach. We enjoyed it so much and hope to return.

The beach house was a perfect fit for out extended family including 4 kids and 4 sets of adults. Everyone had their own space when needed but plenty of room to congregate inside or outside. Absolutely no complaints.

This was our first full family beach trip & we made so many great memories 3 The house was beautiful!!!
