200 feet of private riverbank! Take it all in from our scenic overlook outfitted with Adirondack chairs, then descend our wooden staircase to a natural landscape with smooth river rocks, mossy boulders, and giant driftwood logs. Take your time exploring nature and watching for wildlife. The opposite riverbank is undeveloped forest, and the location is blissfully secluded. 1.5 acres of forest, rhododendrons, ferns and other plants.
The master suite has a king sized bed, and private 3/4 bath. There is a large section available for stretching, yoga or meditation. This room is located upstairs. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are on the main floor, where we have a queen bed each and a workspace (table and chair).
This stretch of river is one mile downstream of the Dungeness Hatchery (which manages populations of salmon and steelhead) and offers ideal fishing conditions. Check the most up-to-date WA Fish & Wildlife regulations for dates and limitations. Typically, salmon fishing season on the Dungeness lasts for six weeks between October and November and peak steelhead season is between January and February.

Or, if you seek a more lively nightlife, Seven Cedars Casino is just down the way and hosts live music and Las Vegas style gaming.
Photos on the listing don't do this rental justice. The property is large and quite private. The master bedroom has a dreamy treehouse vibe. The whole place kinda felt like a 70's swingers pad but in a great way. It was so fabulous to have all the great cooking supplies and nice kitchen, we had some lovely meals here after long days of adventure. The large yard is fully fenced so our senior pup was able to enjoy some peaceful off leash time (as long as the neighbor dog wasn't out hassling her) There's a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy river views of eagles catching fish at sunset. You're also a short drive to town for groceries etc. If you're cycling, it's a fast and safe ride to get to the trailhead for the Olympic Discovery trail. We had a magical stay. We'd love to come back!
Beautiful and relaxing stay. Wifi is strong but there is no cell service which is mentioned in listing. Would love to return and have breakfast again by the river!
The house was very comfortable and the setting in the woods by a river was very pleasant. I particularly enjoyed listening to the river flow! The kitchen was very well equipped and the barbecue was clean and worked fine. The house was spacious. The only negative were a few single steps that always seemed to surprise me such as the one leading from the living room to the kitchen and another in the upstairs bathroom.
