Fabulous choice with Fire Pit + Short Walk to Sheridan Beach, Pool, Tennis ++

This property is very cute, perfect location on Main Street in the Beachwalk neighborhood. Kids loved that it was a bright pink house. There were great beach chairs, toys, and a huge lily pad which made our 11 year olds’ entire trip special! The only 2 minor issues were that the place wasn’t ready until about 45 min after check in which isn’t bad but with 4 kids after a 5 hour drive, it was tough to hold them back and there were ants in the kitchen (not many, but I saw them). Mattress in BR on main floor isn’t super great and can get hot in one of the BR upstairs. Else, it was clean, easy access, cute place, lots of room, open floor plan on main, good parking, good neighborhood, TV in each room. Screened in porch is awesome as are balconies. Everyone said they’d come back!

Upon arrival it was clean. The home is in need of a major update. The kitchen is dated and in need of a major overhaul. The master mattress needs replacing and new bed covers. The mattress had two channels where people have been sleeping. The master bath is small and worn out. The caulk around the tub and sink is worn out and dirty. Not worth the price until it gets a makeover.

A block away from the boardwalk leading to the beach and practically right next door to the pool and other amazing amenities. The house had everything we could need including beach chairs, sand toys, a lily pad and more! We grilled out each evening and enjoyed the firepit out front. Our 60th Elston High School reunion was in September, along with our long awaited week together. Getaway was new for us and it fulfilled every wish we had for our last hurrah together. We are 78 now and have medical issues, which make it increasingly difficult to plan a week in the future. We were delighted with our cottage and enjoyed our stay immensely. The fire pit was such a treat! Other past rentals did not have one...even though we never had a fire, being able to sit around in the circle and see the faces of all our dear women friends was magical:) We hosted a get together for our local friends and Getaway proved perfect for our gathering. Lastly, parking was great! Two spaces in the front and two in the back served us well. I.personally, need to thank the Beachwalk staff at the front office and the maintenance folks....always professional, informative, helpful and very fun:) Many thanks!!

The owners provided chairs and all kinds of beach equipment. The only improvement would be a new shower door on the main level hall bathroom as it’s very difficult to use that shower.

The home has a nice layout , and is well stocked with everything that you will need for your stay. The home is in need of some repairs. All the screens are ripped on the porch as well as the doors do not close to keep the bugs out. The master bath is desperate need of an update. The master sheets are to small for the bed, and will not stay on. All the pillows in the home are very cheep. I feel when renting a beach home for the price I paid it would have better quality beds and bedding. Over all we did enjoy the home

The property itself was a great space for our family to utilize and had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. The provided beach items were an awesome addition to making our stay better. The house itself was clean and well taken care of. We will be returning in the future after having such a great stay. Shoreline Brewery and El Cajete were excellent choices for dinner.

Loved all the extras this property had, like a fully stocked kitchen, fun stuff for the beach and pool, scooters for the kids. Wish the bathrooms were a bit nicer to match the rest of the house but I believe the pictures on the listing are accurate and we expected that. Beds were comfortable and location was great.
