FABULOUS BEACHFRONT! Pets OK-Huge Deck! Lots of space below! Steps to beach

This may be the most beautiful house on the Peninsula. Extremely clean, beautiful open living space, huge deck to see the stars and watch the waves.

We stayed 3 weeks and loved the location, right on the beach. We enjoyed the roomy living room and kitchen.

Special place, we created many wonderful memories here. Such an amazinf view off the deck, direct access to beach. Host was very responsive to a minor issue. Gives me a lot of trust any problem would be taken care of quickly and correctly. House was clean, a little skimpy on soap and other supplies, but nothing thats a serious issue. Kitchen was stocked very serviceably.Absolutely would stay again in a heartbeat.

The front porch was literally 30 yards from the gulf with a path leading to the beach it was a glorious experience

The house was exceptional! So clean and every comfort we could ask for. So well thought out. The rooms were spacious and uncluttered. There wasn’t one thing that we needed that wasn’t provided. We were steps from the beautiful water. The sounds of waves and birds, sunshine everyday.We couldn’t have asked for more wonderful conditions. The BEST part…. It wasn’t crowded. The owner was so kind. We will definitely return.

10 STAR host. As usual, perfect trip. This was a “sisters” trip we take every year. We try to always rent from Ms. Margene if possible. We wish we could have stayed for a few more weeks :). We have been staying in this beach house for a couple of years for our anniversary. This year was no exception-it’s cozy, it has great views, it is secluded this week of the year….we have always had a great stay here and this year was no different. Already planning our trip to come back next year

Being our 6th stay in one of Ms. Margene’s homes, we could not have had a better stay. We are always appreciative of her sharing her little slice of heaven with us. Steps to the beach, fully equipped, all the amenities you would need. Thank you again, and we will be back asap.

Enjoyed the house and the vacation spot!

My family and I had the best time at Pelican Beach. We have been to Galveston countless times, so we decided to do a different spin this year and try Bolivar, and we are SO glad we did! The house is past the hustle of crystal beach, and much more private and quiet. We had the beach to ourselves most days, which was amazing. If you are at the beach and need to run up to the house, its no biggie, the house is very close to the water. This was our dogs first trip to the beach and he LOVED IT! I think he slept for 3 straight days when we got home lol I will say the beach itself is not the best as far as nice sand goes... lots of rocks and shells... oyster shells galore. Make sure you bring a rake, and you can clear yourself a section in front of your canopy. We found lots of sea glass and cool shells. We absolutely LOVED stargazing at night. The milky way was so bright, and the balcony was the perfect place to watch the Perseid meteor shower. Took the ferry to Galveston one day for my daughters birthday and did a helicopter tour and shopped the strand. Ferry was awesome, pulled right on both ways, no wait. The house was very clean, and the beds were SO comfy. Need to supply guests with more paper towels, TP and trash bags... very odd to me that those items are either not included at all, or in very short supply. Make sure to bring some sort of household cleaner bc nothing is provided to clean up after yourself. Other than that, the house was perfect, and we cant wait to return!

Great house and location, we had a great and peaceful time.

This was our second stay at this lovely home. It accommodated our family of 6 perfectly. The home was clean and comfortable and well appointed. The beach was perfect with very little traffic. We enjoyed our time in the surf, ebiking, and spending time together.

House was clean, spacious, and well furnished. We loved watching the waves from the deck. Really appreciated the outdoor shower with hot water!! Perfect for our quiet getaway!!

Beautiful home, easy access to the beach, the family Herrera love this home. Kids had a blast.

We enjoyed our stay very much! We wanted to escape from the city and the remote feeling of this house was perfect. The only downside was the wind made the built in blinds in the primary bedroom knock against the glass all night long. It made it virtually impossible to sleep well in that room. We enjoyed being able to watch our kids from the deck while they played on the beach. It was so easy for them to walk down by themselves (ages 5 & 6).

Terrific property right on the beach. House was immaculate. We enjoyed the kitchen which has a large island. We used it for eating and for playing games.We would definitely stay here again.

Home was as described! We loved the location. Communication with the host was outstanding! We had a very relaxing mini vacation. Hope to return again in the future.

Enjoyed the beautiful ocean view. Watched the dolphins jumping behind the fishing boats. Be sure to bring binoculars. Collected a boat load of different sea shells. Just overall enjoyed the beach house overlooking the Gulf of America.

Our host was super helpful and welcoming. House is right on the beach, so sitting on the deck or opening the living room door and listening to the waves is delightful. There is one house next door, but otherwise the house isolated from others. We loved visiting the nearby Smith Oaks Bird Sanctuary and seeing LOTS of egrets, spoonbills, and alligators. We also loved driving to the free ferry and visiting Galveston. We chose to kayak Galveston Island State Park. All told, a wonderful experience and a great location for what we were looking for.

This house is in a great location right on the beach with close proximity to the grocery store and close enough to the ferry that we traveled to Galveston nearly every day. House was well maintained and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is great! Walk out on the deck and see the sunrise on the water. Large deck. Large gathering area under house. Well-stocked kitchen supplies for cooking. Nice layout of the house. We will be back!

We left cooler weather for 4 nights at the beach. Shells galore. It was great.

We stay here at least twice a year and it has yet to disappoint. The property is well kept, the view is amazing, and the host is always on point!

We stayed here with my parents and our family dog. It was right on the beach- can't get any closer!- and was exactly as advertised. You can definitely feel the house swaying, but it was really only noticeable on the back porch and wasn't so drastic as to make anyone feel seasick (I was worried it was going to feel like a cruise ship). The house had everything we needed, though a few more cooking basics (pots, pans, bigger bowls for serving) would have been appreciated as we mostly cooked in for dinner. Remember to bring other basics like aluminum foil, plastic wrap, salt/pepper, etc. as nothing is provided. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the beach and our stay!

Excellent waterfront property that provides beautiful beaches, sunrises and sunsets!!! Amenities of the property provide everything. We returned to this home for the second year in a row; and will be back again.

This property was perfect for my wife and I (and our mini pin). Check in was a breeze, the house is located in a great beach spot with good views. The underneath bar was awesome, we spent a lot of time on the deck and downstairs at the bar area. House was very clean and neat. Will stay again.

Here's a review for your beachfront vacation rental: I had the most incredible stay at this luxurious beachfront home! The property was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, offering all the amenities one could ask for. The best part was enjoying the stunning views of the ocean under a full moon, creating a truly magical experience. The location was perfect—peaceful and uncrowded, providing the ideal setting for a relaxing getaway. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking to escape to a serene, luxurious beach retreat.

We enjoyed our stay at Margenes place. It was clean, perfect location, right on the beach with only one other house next to you. We had an a/c issue and Margene was very easy to talk with and had the issue fixed within a couple of hours. Do not hesitate to book this beach house. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Margene for letting us BORROW your place for a few days and being super responsive to our calls and fixing the issue we had ! Your the best !!!

We had a wonderful week away at this perfect beach house. The house was in a great location, clean and stocked with just what we needed. The beach was wonderful, even though it was cloudy and rainy most of our time there. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the waves and the rain. We look forward to visiting again soon.
